§ Fragmenting the week...

It's Friday once again. And that means Fragmenting my week. Okay, here goes:

1] Okay, I'm gonna begin my post with a rant... This morning I just read that our Governor...Rick Perry...signed a bill to give the state residents/and school children the 'right to say' "Merry Christmas" in schools and/or allowing the staff/children/parents/students to display anything pertaining to religious freedoms, without the fear of repercussions from anyone else. Read the article here... Now, I'm not one to condone OR condemn this necessary action. My point for sharing this story is for the fact that I feel SAD to know where this country is going on certain subjects and the politically correct stance we have been nearly 'forced' to take. To me, religious freedoms, such as this bill represents, shows me that the government has to waste their taxpayer's money and spend way too much time for a freedom that already exists!! What is wrong with this picture? Isn't America about just this? Religious Freedom; among other freedoms of course?!!! I see nothing wrong with saying Merry Christmas, but on the other hand...I also see nothing wrong with saying "Happy Holidays" either. And decorating the grounds of school with a Christmas Tree or perhaps have an egg hunt in Spring...heck, my generation survived and we learned to enjoy and participate in certain activities during certain religious holidays. AND let me also add that some students couldn't participate...that was their prerogative! Teachers, staff, and other students respected their freedoms back in my youth. 'Nough said. It just 'bloggled' my mind on this whole scenario.
1B] This doesn't have anything to do with the "Merry Christmas Bill" just recently signed, but it has to do with religious freedoms. I remember in high school, we had a student from Pakistan. Her father was a professor at Denver University, in Denver of course. And before y'all go off on a tangent, the family WAS American Citizens!! I distinctly recall that she wasn't allowed to shower in Gym class because of her religious beliefs, and she wore the traditional clothing of her country --NO ONE gave her any gruff about it back then, there was respect for her...yes, yes...I know, 911...it's in our memory, but really, in our country's history there was also the attack on Pearl Harbor in the 1940s and other bombings in the recent past, and today's schools aren't safe [I could go on and on]. I ask, what happened to the people of our world? There is so much hate these days.
2] I was busy this past Wednesday cleaning out clothes closets. I do this twice a year for sure, but sometimes more often. What I don't wear for one season, it is taken off the hangers, and packed in bags and I tote them off to the charity drop off boxes. Once there, I often walk through the thrift store near the box. This time I did, just to get out of the heat for a while. And I found a beautiful Ruby Glass Vase. Bud started me on this. While on our honeymoon, he purchased a beautiful hand blown ruby glass candy dish. That was nearly 45 years ago, and I still have it. Over the years, Ruby Glass, became a passion, and collection. [I also have some pieces of cobalt glass]. Anyway while walking through the store, perusing the shelves of trinkets and household gadgets, I spied this vase; in shock for the price they were asking. I grabbed it quick and took off to the cashier...

...yes, it WAS marked 99 cents. Unbelievable. Not a chip, not any marred areas, etched, handblown, REAL red glass. Not that often seen faux-color where it would rub off in water. I call it my yummy find.

3] Bud and I have been doing some birding. It's muggy, hot, uncomfortable to be out all that long in the day so our trips are short. We did drive to Mustang Island and Port Aransas in hopes of spotting some baby American Coots. But the area we stopped at was nearly barren of birds. A few cormorants and a couple of ruddy ducks - that's about all that was seen on the lake. Except!!!--------the alligators were out and well seen on this particular day. Right out in the open was one. And the poses I got were exceptional if I do say so myself. Once I photographed the 'monstrous beauty' she slowly meandered around the lake and started heading toward the tall reed far, far, far away. But when she go so far, she decided to turn around and head back toward us. As we watched her, she came closer and closer. The cormorants on their perch, flew off in a hurry when she neared them. But, she really showed no interest. The closer she came to us, her massive size astounded me. At one point, she was just a foot away from my feet. Of course I was up on the elevated boardwalk, and she crawled under the boardwalk where Bud and I were standing...we followed. She eventually made her way into the tall reed just inches away from the boardwalk and disappeared. But, I got some photos whilst she made her way to her daytime shaded area [and note the one image...the close up- it's her EYEBALL just above my copyright watermark]...

This one is a 'baby'!!

4] I finished reading Dante's Inferno. I enjoyed it. Surprisingly it was easy to decipher and it was smooth flowing throughout. It ended happily...but the drudgery that he went through throughout the poem, with his guide, was treachery and sadness along with some highly gross descriptive stanzas. I can now know just why it is considered a literary classic.

5] I now picked up a book to read entitled Haunt Me Still, authored by Jennifer Lee Carrell...a Shakespearean Thriller. This book has Lady Macbeth as the 'main interest'. At least so far.

6]...and to share a view of the massive thunderhead clouds looking Southwest toward the city of Corpus Christi, from Port A [Aransas], I show you the sky's beautiful drama...

§ Some Texas drivers...they boggle my mind!!

  1. The first 'named' Tropical Storm is in the Gulf of Mexico today, stirring up some winds and heavy rains I'm sure! And it's headed to the western coast of Florida...track shows it will remain a storm all along the eastern coast of USA and then farther northward is its path. By the looks of this map I read early this morning---it's gonna be around for some time!! Those of you along the predicted trail, batten down the hatches!! [by the way, her name is Andrea. That was gonna be Erik's name if born a girl. He says: "That's why I was a man child, Andrea is so sissified!" LOL]

  2. After completing the book by Dan Brown, INFERNO, and so enjoying the suspense of it all; it finally came to a conclusive and concise epilogue, and I was at a loss. Here all the time turning the pages quickly to get to know what happens next and wanting the ending to come up quicker and quicker, just to know what happens at the end, I was sad to have it all come to a closure! What do I read next? I don't know 'bout you, but when a rare, good, book is finished, the next one you pick to read seems mundane. At least for a while. Especially, while you're still in the previous book's mode. And I've heard about Dante's Divine Comedy [which is a theme of Brown's INFERNO] ---I quickly picked up the first of the trilogy written by A. Dante...Dante's Inferno. And, by golly, I'm comprehending it all so far. It's a book of poetry with 'cantos' ---chapters of sorts within a huge, long, poem. The English Translation isn't bad at all. Not at all what I expected. And so far, that, too, is pretty good.
  3. A little over a week ago, I received a package from a wonderful online friend from Denmark. She always spoils me with such treasured gifts. This time it was no exception. She had emailed me that when she saw this, she thought of me right away. It's so darling. I have it placed on my nightstand for a reminder of our long lasting friendship over the years....
  4. Late yesterday afternoon I hopped in the car to drive to the park and check on the hummer, to see if any of her small brood had hatched. She was there on the nest when I arrived, and in order to not disturb her any, I just quickly snapped the photo [hence the silhouette -because of the time of day, and I didn't want to be walking around any to get her true colors]. This ritual is for a 'record' of sorts to see how long it takes from nest building; incubation time and hatching. I know it is not going to be anywhere NEAR accurate, but still 'fun'. I left as quickly as I got there. I'll check back again soon if I can...

  5. At the beach, just a reminder, having 4 wheel drive on your vehicle doesn't mean you can go anywhere in it without getting stuck!!!---

§ Picture this in fragments...

ONE: Bud and I had finished dinner around 7 pm, and I was taking the recycle out to the recycle bin. Well, I heard this awful ruckus and pans dropping in the kitchen from outside. Pretty soon, as I neared the back door, I could hear a few swear words. Well, at least my dishwasher of a husband was still standing but none-the-less disgruntled. To say the least. I had no idea what had happened, until I saw him rushing out to the garage and coming back in with tools. All the while he was doing this, the water from the faucet was still running at full speed. Grumbling he said "Why tonight?" By that time I had reached the sink and was going to offer to help in what I could, but I then saw the problem. While Bud was rinsing off the dutch oven in the sink [I cook, he does the dishes]...and the lifter-upper thing on the faucet head [the part that controls the water flow - like this kind -link-] had broken off completely. I wanted to laugh, but knew I shouldn't. But, trust me, I was laughing on the inside. You see, I wanted this replaced a long time ago. Joe the Plumber Bud is not, but we both know our way around replacing these because of all the remodeling we have done throughout our married life. Okay, but still, he couldn't get the water shut off without a control. Knowing him, I wasn't going to suggest shutting off the water at the shut-off valve under the sink in the cupboard either. Bud had returned with his handy-dandy tool that he can't do any project without...a vice grip pliers. Okay, I saw now what he wanted to do. He wanted to reach into the open part of the faucet head and shut the water off from there AFTER he got the dishes rinsed and in the automatic dishwasher. I couldn't take it any longer and blurted out "Shut the water off at the valve". Okay, his response was "I'm gonna want running water in the morning for making coffee...I'll shut it off here. It'll work." "Whatever cranks your gears sweet cheeks" I say. And leave the scene. The water finally was shut off. All the while I heard faint curses.

So next morning, I found out that Lowes opened at 7am, and Home Depot opened at 730 am. We drove to Lowes first, found one faucet to our liking on display, but they were not in stock. Figures. If it weren't for bad luck Bud'd have no luck at all. Or perhaps 'cause he's Irish!! I don't know which. To continue, granted, I mentioned above that we have done our share and more of remodeling kitchens. We do know our way around [a bit] the plumbing...at least sinks. I can't tell you how many times we've replaced faucets. Both in kitchens and bathrooms. But...and that's a big but---we're much older now, and Bud's hands are quite arthritic. And he's stubborn as a goat!! Or mule...which one is more stubborn? The goat or the mule? Crawling 'round under the sink, water residue dripping slowly out of the disconnected water lines, he tried his bad luck again, and his bad luck was still with him. One of the nuts that hold the threaded pipe to the faucet wouldn't budge. I offered to crawl under to see if I can pry it loose. Of course, the 'he man' in him wouldn't think of it. So, I waited. Patiently. More curse words and more straining. Nada. He crawled back out of there to return to get another tool from the tool box out in the garage. Aha!!! Here's my chance. I got under the sink, reached up and twisted. Tho, I must admit, I strained a lot, but it broke loose, and by the time he returned to the kitchen, I had the nut off. LOL We then worked together somewhat; he relinquished his 'he man attitude'. And to end this saga, what should've been a 30-45 minute job of work, it took two and half hours. I finally got that nasty old faucet out of the kitchen and replaced it with another sparkly one. And you probably are asking yourself "Why didn't they have an expert do the work?" Okay, I'm gonna tell you why. This happened on a Saturday night...I did call a plumber and they told me "We are done for the evening, we can come out and do the work for you, but it's after hours, this isn't an emergency, you could wait until we set up a time for Monday to fix it for you, or you can pay double rate." Nah, but thanks anyway. Can you hear the phone being set back down? $150 an hour, plus parts and labor vs. an $90 faucet that we replaced ourselves. What's a backache? That'll go away in due time. And so goes another day in our nearly 45 year relationship.

TWO: Watching the latest episode of NCIS [my favorite program] online, Canary, the program is getting back to being acceptable. The one program before this was a little "iffy" for me, the one with Abby and her past. There isn't another episode of NCIS 'til February 19th, and I read it's gonna be about Director Vance's past. I don't like the stand-in acting director after the death of Leon's wife; I would prefer Director Vance to return. He has balls....more like a director should be in my opinion. Also, reading info on the program, CBS has renewed NCIS for an 11th season. The program will run in 2013-2014. Cool.

THREE: Now, can't wait for GRIMM to return from their hiatus. The last program really left all of us fans hanging. And I found the preview of its return program coming up on March 8th. What's gonna happen to Nick? And Juliet? And the captain? The countdown begins:

FOUR: We got a small amount of precipitation this week; on Wednesday. Need more please.

FIVE: Easter is in MARCH this year? whoa.

Friendship Friday This week: relationship [see fragment #1]

§ The week in fragments...

One: Monday of this week, I craved something chocolate.  I hafta tellya, I haven't made these but maybe once since the kids left home.  I used to make them quite often for them to snack on after school while doing their homework, only because they were so easy ... VERY easy, and tasty.  They're called Yankee Noodles.  Two ingredients needed.  About 10 minutes total prep time to completion.  The only draw back is that they should be chilled overnight.  And they're a serious "finger licking" snack, with a glass of cold milk!!

YANKEE NOODLE DANDIES
Here's the recipe.

1 bag of Nestlé Chocolate Chips
[I use Dark Chocolate]
1 bag of Chow Mein Noodles

...in a large bowl empty entire bag of chips, microwave at medium high setting for approximately 2 minutes [depending of voltage/wattage of your oven].  With a large spoon, stir chips to a smooth chocolate mixture.  Toss in the noodles and coat thoroughly.  Spoon onto waxed paper covered cookie sheets and chill overnight.  Makes about 24 Yankee Noodle Dandies!!!!

Two: While walking through the Science Museum and finishing up the tour from both sides of the building, Bud and I browsed through the gift shop on our way out. I spied a book there, about a local history that I've been considering finding in the bookstore or ordering it if need be!!  But, once I saw the price tag in the inside flap, I quickly changed my mind...$30 for a thin book with just over 100 pages. I don't think so. Even with the Kindle edition, it's a bit too costly for such a 'thin' book. I went online to see if there were any through book finders that would be cheaper...just the opposite; more expensive. And adding shipping and handling to that...uh, uh, no way José [or at least I originally thought]. When I needed to go to the county court house in person this past week, I walked over to the county library that is just a block away and used their online card catalog in hopes of finding it there. I did....I checked it out, and reading it now. It's just as I thought it would be; very interesting. I am learning a lot of the names you see on buildings and streets around here and who they are associated with in history. Worth reading if you live in this area, and checking it out at the library; a lot cheaper. LOL The book: Letters to Alice [about the love of the famous King's Ranch maiden - Alice King - daughter of ranch 'owner', now long deceased, Richard King]. Completing the book, I found the Epilogue to be super! First off the King Family used to summer vacation in Colorado [my 'home' state] and stayed at a hotel in the Springs, that blew me away...The Antlers Hotel...Bud was born in Colorado Springs, and we both know the Antlers Hotel like the back of our hands. LOL Still, the epilogue gave us a more recent history of the famous ranch...very good book. I may have to break down and buy the book someday to add to our book collection. Some day.

THREE: Bud and I went to the theater to see the #1 ranked movie for the last weekend...Hansel and Gretel - Witch Hunters. I was leery at first, thinking that it was just another 'teen flick' and hyped-up by the younger generations [reading the reviews of other movie goers]. The movie critics condemned it in many ways...but, I never agree with them much. LOL And we were bored, the weather was sultry, for days we've had a high wind warning and fire danger posted all over...so, we just went. Expecting a B movie, we came out surprisingly satisfied. It's fast paced from the opening credits to the end. Hansel & Gretel are out for revenge of the witch from Grimm's Fairy Tales...they become bounty hunters so to speak, and reek havoc with witches. I must warn you tho, there are scenes that are quite gory and so much is so realistic [special effects and slaying]. Some nudity with a special interest lady friend of Hansel's...a few strong words, but all in all entertaining if you like the science fiction genre. Oh, and just my opinion -- at the ending, I got a hunch there will be a sequel in the near future?!!!

FOUR: This is a fragmented rant!! My thoughts only...no offense taken please. Lately I've seen a lot of Linky abuse on several blogs....what's up with that? Joining in on a blog hop and creating a linky in excess is only abusing the free services of someone generous enough to share the javascript. And I've seen it happen before...once bloggers begin to abuse a free service by over-using it, it no longer is free because of the high cost of keeping the javascript on their servers. Memes, on the other hand, have only ONE linking page on the meme host/hostess page. Blog hops have dozens of linking posts and clutters by over abusing a free service.
Excessive Use of Linking Scripts 1] Take for instance each script costs the provider 1 cent...hundreds of bloggers use this script daily....eventually this costs the provider hundreds of dollars in a year's time. 2] While memes, on the other hand, use only one free script weekly. You do the math! 3] Economic view: Supply and Demand=Higher Costs 4] Common sense tells me that soon it won't be a free service if the usage continues at this pace.

Five: I received this in an email and thought it was a hoot:

"I just received my tax return for 2012 back from the IRS.
It puzzles me!!!
They are questioning how many dependents I claimed.
I guess it was because of my response to the question:
"List all dependents?" I replied:
  1. 12 million illegal immigrants
  2. 3 million crack heads
  3. 42 million unemployed people on food stamps
  4. 2 million people in over 243 prisons
  5. Half of Mexico
  6. 535 persons in the U.S. House and Senate
  7. 1 useless President
Evidently, this was NOT an acceptable answer. I keep asking myself...
WHO DID I MISS?"

Friendship Friday This week: books

§ Word Fragments

1] VULNERABLE [adjective: Exposed to the possibility of being attacked or harmed, either physically or emotionally] - this past week, there was another shooting on a school campus. In Houston! And the campus was the college campus where my son teaches!!! I felt so vulnerable until I heard that he was okay and not at that campus. After finding out about the violent act, trying to get in touch with him, I could barely focus on the phone's contact list and click on his name...I was shaking like a leaf in a windstorm.

2] CURIOUS [adjective: Eager to know or learn something] - There have been a couple of plants I've spied while on our walking treks in the past that I photographed, without knowing what they were...I've been curious, and wanting a name to go with these photos. I found them, I think; feel free to correct me if you think I'm in error!

One:
Red Elderberry. I've seen these all over a certain area where we like to 'hit' when out looking for birds to photograph. It blooms a frosty cream colored white in the late Spring and late in Autumn through the Winter months there are red berries. I've noticed a few times that Mockingbirds enjoy snacking on the fruit. Searching and searching, I finally found a similar image online; info has it that they are toxic to humans but some wildlife are immune to their poisons. Tell me, does anyone know for sure if this is truly a red elderberry? What I don't know sometimes tends to make me learn and find out just what it is that I'm looking at when it surrounds me oftentimes.

Two:
American Beautyberry. This particular bush was spotted by me when we were on a Nature Trail on Goose Island about 30 miles or so from home. The beautiful coloration of the berries, magenta, made me stop and photograph this species as I had never seen such a berry this color before. The sun was hitting the bush and really brightened the trail with this luscious looking fruit against the jade green. Searching and searching, I think I finally found its name. After finding out what it is called, I also read that it's a medicinal plant, often invasive [growing wild and hard to control]. And perhaps the section I read that I liked the most, it acts as a mosquito repellent!!

3] SPENT [adjective: Having no power or energy left] There you have it!! Yes, I was literally worn down with the photo project this week. I was more than happy to finally say, after nearly five days of working with the intention of getting all the hundreds of bird photos off the computer and onto a disc...to finally say "I'm done"!! Well, I put a lot of them [around 300-350] on a DVD with framing, music, and titling each one individually. With the music, photos and effects and transitions added, it' just short of 1 hour playing time. Some of you asked if I would share it. It's way over 150MB, and there is no possibilty of uploading the huge files to youtube. Sorry. Before deleting them all from the computer, I did copy the photos without any added extra special effects, so I may be able to condense it somewhat and share a partial work for youtube. But, I'll do so in the future...right now, I'm spent!! Besides, eventually they'll all be shared individually on "I'd Rather B Birdin'" blog as an ongoing slide show.

4] HOUSEWIFERY [noun: The function or duties of a housewife; housekeeping] It's a never ending battle fought through the ages!! Altho, I must admit, I haven't really cleaned up the house since before Christmas. Oh ya, I've vacuumed and swept the kitchen and bathroom tiles...but to actually get down and hand scrub the shower stalls and those unmentionables---the chamber pots---countertops, mantle, end tables and nick-knacks, I confess, it's been way over a month. That's just not like me. I could literally write in the dust on the furniture. And I do believe Tahoe, or maybe it was Winston, used their paws and food to write the words: "Wash Me" beside their feed bowls. Other than sandwiches this week, not much got cooked either. I finally did make a turkey meat loaf and had fixed waldorf salad and baked us up some bacon cheese and made with that twice baked potatoes. Bud couldn't say enough on that meal. LOL One more thing on the subject...I dislike Winter a lot...way too much laundry. The bulk of it all...heavy jeans, sweat pants, sweat shirts, and load of socks--that makes for a lot of loads because of the weight of it all.

5] INVENTIVE [adjective: Having the ability to create or design new things] In all honesty, it's really not an invention of my own making. One of the other birders online that left a link on the Bird D'Pot meme last week had composed a post on her blog on a bird feeder wreath that she hung in her backyard --- it was really a work of art. Well, I couldn't let her have one and not me. [why is it that when I visit some of these crafty ladies, I need to play copy cat? I'm sure glad I don't visit Pinterest]. The project is easy so far [Phew!!], and I'm looking forward to seeing the finished project and hopefully attract more backyard birds other than doves and sparrows.

6] DRAFT [verb: to design; execute a plan] Today, I'm experimenting with a three column blog layout. What do you think? Is it showing as a three column in YOUR browser? What resolution do you have set up on your computer? I realize that some don't have a large screen and perhaps the columns are running together for you? Or do you have to scroll horizontally to view some of my blog? What say you...

Friendship Friday
This week our Friendship Hostess asks about BLOGGING GOALS

"What are your current Blogging Goals?
Do you have a plan for achieving them?"

...Well, I can't say that I really have 'goals' per sé. I began blogging on Christmas Day back in 2006!! I didn't have much inkling as to what a blog should pertain to in realm of composition. Today, it's become a fun task. I try and make a 'goal' of blogging something each day in hopes that sometime in the future I can look back on it as a diary of sorts. Then, I got hooked on memes. Again, I had no idea what a meme was until I began visiting other blogs and following them to insure I make a meme contribution correctly. It took me a while, but I finally got the hang of it. My blog is here for me mostly...to gain a bit of design, writing, photographing skills.

My idea of a goal for blogging is to just enjoy the whole concept. Blog for myself, enjoy some humor once in a while, share photos once in a while if not on a daily basis...at least often!! Share thoughts...be they any category, it's all about finding yourself and being in the know. Maybe adding some history now and then, current events, or join in on a political discussion, even if the discussion is by yourself and maybe controversial...opinions are based on a personal blog. Share a craft idea or two once in a while, review a book or a movie, be opinionated on a vast number of subjects and/or ideas...in whole, making a goal to do my own style.

As my fragmented words above this section is about 'words' this week:

BLOG: Noun [A Web site on which an individual or group of users record opinions, information, etc. on a regular basis.]

That's it in a nutshell...compose a bit of chit chat on a regular basis.

§ Fragmented thoughts & autobio...

first, the Fragments...

  • Past weekend, woke up early to a balmy 74 degrees F outside, clear skies. Within two hours the temp had dropped 24 degrees and clouds rolled and boiled, bringing in a cold front, and just a drizzling of moisture. And then, Thursday morning....woke up to a freeze warning...tho, our yard's low was 37 degrees.
  • I think I jinxed the playoff favorites of mine...Neither the Denver Broncos nor the Houston Texans won. Bummer
  • The last two episodes of NCIS have blown me away!! Especially the Tuesday before this week...whoa. So unexpectedly poignant... Cote de Pablo should be nominated for an emmy for that episode. Seriously.
  • I need to bake something. A pie sounds good.
  • Photo work on the DVD project is moving along more slowly than anticipated. Not too much is being accomplished. And here I thought it'd be a simple project...but no, it took me a couple of days just to find appropriate music to save so I can upload it later. LOL I'm taking the photo of some [not all] and adding a watercolor effect. For instance:

All my photos will be framed with the misted oval, and titled with bird name...but very few will be 'watercolored'; it's too time consuming.
  • I was invited to join in on bloggers' "Friendship Friday". I'll try to participate when I can...

    FRIENDSHIP FRIDAY

This week's theme is "Autobiography". So, I'll begin with my Blogger Profile Info. I'm a daughter, sister, wife [to the same man for 45 years in May this year], mother to two grown adult children, and a grandmother of two grandsons. I've been known to play the piano, tho I was never too good at the left hand. LOL --- I love to paint in watercolors, oil, and seldom I dabble in acrylics. Some of my work has been shared here...on my sidebar, just click on the drop down menu under the art easel. I'm crafty too. My newest obsession is birding and bird photography!!! We, as in my husband and myself, go out birding at sunrise most times, and travel to the islands to catch the perfect bird photo. I started another blog [again, as you can see on my sidebar] to share my bird photos...called "I'd Rather B Birdin". I love to read, a fanatic over movies, enjoy playing table games such as cards, trivial pursuit, cribbage and chess. I never did get 'into' electronic games as the generations ahead of me have done. I've had heart surgery in the past, but this last year's report card from the cardiologist told me I was a 'success story'. Doing well. My favorite color is...well, let me back up a bit, my favorite colors are: cobalt blue, royal purple [dark] and forest green. After retirement, we moved from Colorado where I lived for a little over 40 years...went to Tucson Arizona for a decade, and then wanted to live by the beach, so Coastal Texas is now where we call home; enjoying it immensely...beachcombing, just walking along the shore with the sea breeze in our hair and the salt water on our toes. Here at home, I have two fur babies...a white persian, Winston, and a black tabby, Tahoe...Tahoe relocated with us from Tucson to TX. The bonus question this week is "Who's autobiography would you like to read". I may come across as odd, but if John Wilkes Booth were to have written a life story, I would find it fascinating to see how his mind worked by reading what his own words were back in the days. Keeping this as short as I can, I will end here. And pass on my thanks for the invitation to join Friendship Friday.
