The sea was turbulent, the fog was settling in. Bud and I walked the Packery Channel before sunrise. But first, before the photos for the day, can you tell what this is? Perhaps your guess is correct. Scroll down to see if that is so. But be careful not to get too wet with the ocean spray!! Believe it or not, these are NOT black and white photos, tho the storm makes it appear that way.

Okay, what was your guess? We're looking through the morning mist, and the view is dim. Here it is....

Did you get the answer correct? Yep, it's Wiley Coyote...or maybe Wilma Coyote. It was searching for breakfast. Only to disappear shortly after these photos were taken.
Wow, that's some rough waters there. I see there is some brave soul out there on his surf board.
ReplyDeleteI had no clue what that was in the top picture. I would never have guessed coyote in a million years. Hope he/she found a tasty breakfast.
I'll take this gulf spray any day, compared to your snow & ice
DeleteI guessed ears but thought it was a bobcat, we are having coyote problems here in the city, they are killing pets and causing a hullabaloo. I say humans should watch their pets since we know they are out there.... I love the photos of the coyote and hope he is safe. I thought the photos were black and white. wow
ReplyDeleteI've only heard from other walkers seeing bobxats...I've only seen road kill.
DeleteI didn't know for sure, but I did think coyote. I was shocked to see a person in that one photo out there in those waves. Brave or foolhardy, methinks. :-)
ReplyDeleteSurfers are always anxious for higher waves.
DeleteFeeling the power of the waves and wind! Nice series. My guess was a dog - well almost correct...
ReplyDeleteBoth same 'family'.
DeleteSplendid pictures! Is that a person actually out in the water? I guessed a fox, but that is not too far off.
ReplyDeleteYep...in his wet suit...surfing.
DeleteYou are truly an outside adventurer. What makes even nice, you and husband seem to enjoy that life.
ReplyDeleteHe comes with me occasionally. Mostly not fully awake when I'm out the door. LOL
DeleteI saw the surfer and the bird..totally missed the Coyote. AND on the beach wow.
ReplyDeleteHad no idea there were on the coast. Your Misty photos are amazing!!
Hugs Cecilia
Thanks C
DeleteOh my! I had no guess as to what I was seeing.
ReplyDelete...now you know tho
DeleteI am stupid...I thought fox, but should have known coyote!
ReplyDeleteI think fox is a pretty close assumption!!
DeleteGreat photos! I saw the surfer and the bird, missed the coyote, but I love the pics of it in the fog!
ReplyDeleteWhat did you guess?
Deletewow almost creepy but very interesting. We caught a Beaver on our game camera. Flooding our back pasture
ReplyDeleteMB
The beaver's work made your pasture flood?
DeleteWe have been having problems with them getting mange. This ultimately gives them vision problems thus come out in the day time... looking the worse for wear.. Mange looking thus the term but very sad.
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't want to deal with that.
DeleteThem dang coyotes are everywhere!!!
ReplyDeleteI love your photos.
They are mire active right now, too.
