Broken Fence Line and Yucca
at Fred Jones Bird Sanctuary
TWO new apps for smartphones and cpu's....QR Code Reader & SuperPhoto have taken over!! I got hooked the other day when it was too hot to be outdoors, and played and played and played. After scanning and reading bar codes for a while, I then made use of one filter on Super Photo, the 'smooth painting'. And I did 14 of my original photos before I realized there was life beyond the computer...

WARNING!! This software program and the code app ... VERY addictive.
I like all your edits. I know of quite a few people who have downloaded Super Photo. I've played around with it quite a bit myself. Now I need to find that other app and play with that.
ReplyDeletethe other app is okay...fun for what it does, but the super photo is MUCH MORE FUN!
DeleteMy favorites are the pelican, blue heron, and rosebud. Also the shrimp boat. But it is hard to choose. They are all beautiful. I have the Super Photo app, but have not made anything near this pretty!
ReplyDeleteI'm like you....I too pick out favorites. I hope you share some of your SuperPhoto work in the future.
DeleteAlways enjoy the sights from around Texas. I have no idea what you you are talking about with Super Photo. I do good to do what I do. Wish I was more tech smart, but too late.
ReplyDeletesuperphoto is an application/software for your computer and photos. And LV...it's never to late.
DeleteI agree, some of those Apps can be addictive.Have fun.
ReplyDeleteI am having fun with it....yep, addiction. Definitely.
DeleteI love these! I could get addicted very easily!
ReplyDeleteIt's easy....addictions like this are fairly safe...unless you SIT all day. LOL
DeleteHa! You got caught by a computer app, it's happened to me, too. Maybe I'll go take a look... :-)
ReplyDelete...you've been forewarned D J
DeleteI've always want to see a red cardinal. Sure a pretty bird.
ReplyDeleteCoffee is on
Indeed....they ARE very pretty.
DeletePretty pictures. Wanted to answer a question from you a while back. No John is not peanut farming now but that is what he did for a living and the cattle raising was a sideline. Stay cool in this heat.
ReplyDeleteYou too...it's been so hot and so miserably uncomfortable after 9 a.m. I stay indoors after that unless absolutely necessary.
DeleteI'd think that peanut farming would be a tough job.
Thanks Felicia. This latest book I've just finished has all kinds of 'bar codes' for birdsong. That's why I installed it.
ReplyDeleteHoly cow those look awesome! It's been pretty darn toasty around here, as well :oP Thankfully, I think our temps are supposed to ease up a bit next week. I thought about you the other day as I was stalking a Cardinal with my camera. Shot him, and his little bud too... *laugh*
ReplyDeleteSo cool!!! I love the cardinal.
DeleteI do hope it cools down to a more tolerable temp here........sooner than later.
My favorite: the Yukka because this plant grows here only inside in a flowerpot :-) O ja, and the singing red bird. I wish I could hear this animal's song.
ReplyDeleteGo out on google and type in cardinal song...I bet you'd be pleased with their sounds.
DeleteI like the yucca too Jedidja.
Hello Anni, fun edits and photos. I love all the birds and the pretty waterlilies. Happy Thursday, enjoy your day and the weekend ahead!
ReplyDeleteI too like water lilies...Thanks Eileen. Hope you continue to have mild, warm, summer days.
DeleteI enjoyed your goofin around Anni. The bright green yucca and fence is a brill picture. So is the shrimp boat - don't know how you did that. Now of course I have to ge check out Superphoto. Thanks for the tip off my friend.
ReplyDeleteI warned you....it's something that'll pass time when you're not out birding or banding birds.

ReplyDeleteI like what you have done.
MB
It'd probably be good for me if'n it disappeared here for a while. I did MORE today before leaving for the park in Rockport.
DeleteNow you know and can understand me better! I love doing this kind of photo manipulation. Sometimes I play in one application, transfer it to another and change a few things and then go back before I'm finished. It IS ADDICTIVE!
ReplyDelete...definitely addictive. I did more this morning before leaving home to drive to Rockport.
DeleteSuperPhoto looks like so much fun! I'm gonna have to investigate :) Love all your photos, and Leroy has BEAUTIFUL soulful eyes. Thanks for sharing.

ReplyDeleteOh, I always enjoy seeing Leroy in our yard...it's been a while, just hope he's okay.
DeleteLooks like you've gotten "hooked" for sure. - What a fun app. The photos you did were great. Of course I liked your Yucca/Fence shot and also the sweet kitty. I hate going out when it's really hot too.

I would LOVE to have water lilies in my yard...but, no pond.
DeleteThe QR reader is a scanner...it scans bar codes and then directs you to a webpage.
Hello Anni!:) I'm back, but am finding it difficult catching up. Love all your edits... what fun! I wouldn't mind a bit of goofing off myself with the Super Photo, I'll give it a go. Love your Yuka and broken fence image, just amazing what you did with it, and the Shrimp Boat, I especially love that image. See you Saturday.:))
ReplyDeleteThanks!!! Your sweet comments are always appreciated.
DeleteThanks Jim
ReplyDeleteOn my phone, I tend to install games. Right now I'm continually playing scrabble vs. the 'computer'....and I use it every quiet moment when I am waiting for something/someone.
