Goofing Off One Hot Summer Day...

Broken Fence Line and Yucca
at Fred Jones Bird Sanctuary

TWO new apps for smartphones and cpu's....QR Code Reader & SuperPhoto have taken over!! I got hooked the other day when it was too hot to be outdoors, and played and played and played. After scanning and reading bar codes for a while, I then made use of one filter on Super Photo, the 'smooth painting'. And I did 14 of my original photos before I realized there was life beyond the computer...

Wooden Walkway Bridge at Rockport Texas Beach & Sky over Sunset Lakes

Mexican Hat Flower & Singing Cardinal

Pink Water Lily from Port A - Yellow Water Lily from Rockport Texas

Painted Bunting at Oso Bay Wetlands - Shrimp Boat near Marina

Great Blue Heron on Bay Shore

Portrait of Brown Pelican - Rosebud in our Yard

Neighborhood Cat [I call him Leroy Brown the Junkyard Cat] - Lydia Ann Lighthouse at Port A

WARNING!! This software program and the code app ... VERY addictive.

  1. I like all your edits. I know of quite a few people who have downloaded Super Photo. I've played around with it quite a bit myself. Now I need to find that other app and play with that.

  9. Pretty pictures. Wanted to answer a question from you a while back. No John is not peanut farming now but that is what he did for a living and the cattle raising was a sideline. Stay cool in this heat.

    1. You too...it's been so hot and so miserably uncomfortable after 9 a.m. I stay indoors after that unless absolutely necessary.

I'd think that peanut farming would be a tough job.

  10. Holy cow those look awesome! It's been pretty darn toasty around here, as well :oP Thankfully, I think our temps are supposed to ease up a bit next week. I thought about you the other day as I was stalking a Cardinal with my camera. Shot him, and his little bud too... *laugh*

There is a huge interest in this and there are so many apps and it is so confusing, anyway I am so happy you told me about this app. I put it on my phone. Your photos are incredible.
