The way Blogger has been acting so sluggish this afternoon, I thought I'd post this early for Wednesday...

Some added photos to today's post. The temperatures have been ideal for me right now. And the humidity is low [well, low for the coast]...Mid 80s and 40%!! Bud and I have been working our tails off outdoors the last few days. Trimming. Raking. Planting. Painting. Etc. etc. etc. Last week while unlocking the yard's gate to let the meter reader in the yard, I happened to notice that the pomegranate tree I planted just last Spring had flower buds!!! I was so happy to see that the leaves were back, but never even thought it'd bloom this year!! I've been keeping a close vigil on its progress. Here are a few photos from the back yard for the season---

Here's where I whine ... I am sooo looking forward to more conducive weather to garden ... got a wee bit done. Tomorrow it will start the warming trend.

The bird over the water with those great looking clouds is a wonderful picture. The flowers brighten up the day even though it's pouring rain here.

BLOGGER'S new Word Verification RANT

First off all, it's very time consuming when you tend to repay visits from those who leave comments on your blog!!! Secondly, it's very difficult to decipher...it's annoying...it's a pain in the butt! Literally. Think about it, for every blog that has this WORD VERIFICATION; taking two or more attempts to type in the correct combination - multiply that by some 30-40 blogs that you visit ---that takes up a lot of minutes/hours trying to be courteous and kind to those who leave you a comment and expect a visit from you in return, and you have that nasty word verification enabled!! If you don't get a lot of comments, and have word verification on your blog -- you have no one to blame but yourself.

Click on Settings
Click on COMMENTS scroll down to:
Show word verification for comments?
Click "NO"

PS: If you have the NEW Blogger INTERFACE, there is no option...you can fix that!!! GO TO THE OLD BLOGGER INTERFACE that you find on the newer version [a link] --then, follow the settings -comments- NO word verification -save. You can then have the option to return to the new interface or remain in the old style.

So many times, I've read comments posted by our own citizens under political articles about USA. And these citizens [the ones that vote for our leaders] keep referring to our country as being a Democracy!!!
