I tried to comment the other day, to your HoT post, but it wasn't working... I wanted to say that I was going to stick around even if I didn't agree with what you were saying, because I'm all about the 1st Amendment. But then I *agreed* with what you were saying, so that made it easier to listen to your message. (I still would've defended your right to speak... and not just because it's your blog. *wink*)
Anyway, we did it! Congratulations to use all! Happy Election Day, Happy WW, Happy!
I stayed up … what an amazing night it was! This morning I’m filled with hope for the future and I’m fully aware how challenging the next few years will be for Obama and all of us. Yes we can ;--) Hugs and blessings,
My celebration may not be as exuberant as yours, but I celebrate. We do have a new president and one who has promised us a change. I am prayerful that we will have that change -- that America can once again be a respected, powerful, Godly country. Our country can move forward under this new leadership. No more campaign ads --- that too is something to celebrate. :)
You know, of course, that I was not happy with the outcome of this election, but one thing for sure. I'm glad it's over. Time will tell whether America made the right choice or not. Will be looking forward to your opening your package. Isn't blogging fun? Hugs, Charlotte
A lot of Canadians were watching and waiting for the results of this election...in our newspaper tonight it said that the Canadian people were very happy that Obama had won. I just hope he can keep his promises and that he can put America back on its feet:-) xoxo
I'm like Charlene, the outcome was not what I wanted either.
There is one thing I'm so very happy about though. I'm happy for the Black community. I'm thrilled that they can shine like they never have been able to before.
Hi Anni. I don't think there was ever any doubt, once Obama beat Hillary, that he would be President. I sure hope he works out to be as good as he appears now.

As I was uncertain for whom I was going to cast my ballot for up to the last minute I can honestly say that I'm about as happy that Obama won as I would have been if McCain had won. I was just not impressed with either of them. So now we'll see if Obama keeps to his words. (I can't name very many that ever have.)
Hi Anni--I know you love Obama and baseball--almost equally. If you're not sleeping off your late night, zip over to my place for a little post about Obama and the Louisville Slugger--they were ready too!
BTW, thanks for sharing this campaign memo--I was just hearing the politicos talking about this appraoch today.
