12:33 A.M.

Sayre is our hostess this week. She asks us to:
Take your camera to work and take pictures
of the things that inspire you as you work or that inspires your coworkers.
Ask them (or yourself) what it is about that particular object or picture
that makes the work day seem a little easier.
If you don't work outside the home, take a picture of the thing
that helps you get through the day
and inspires you to have the best day you can.

When I'm at my computer, working at blogging, my inspirations are what I see beside me. Actually throughout my life, they've all been inspirations. I have this on each side of me:

left photo: Erik in his Marine Corps uniform, Me, Irene and Clint
small Christmas photo of our two youngsters and Erik/ to Irene and Clint

Right photo, Bud and I on our wedding day, my mom as a teen..small photos Dillon, Clint and my father with is dog [when he was widowed], Sophie---far right on this photo.

Then, my furbabies, they inspire me to take care of myself so I can take care of them:

Winston....sorry, I had to wake him up for y'all!!.....:::yawn:::

Tahoe, posing for y'all!---

  9. Anni,

What inspiration these photos must bring you. I took all of mine down a while back when we wallpapered the living room and haven't put them back up yet. I really need to do that. Photos give such warmth to a home.

Your kitties are adorable. Enjoy them.

  10. That's like me, inspiration is around me ! Winston made me yawn too, lol !

  15. Winston is fierce! Grandmother what big teeth you have! You didn't tell us what you're drinking in that big ole cup Anni--something to inspire as well? I'm glad your family brings you such happiness. You're getting just rewards for the time and care you put into your family, I suspect.

    Happy Monday.

So from these photos I can tell you like to keep the things/people you care about very close to you.

  17. It must be great to be surrounded by memories.

  18. Tell Winston he can go back to sleep now - we know that cats need as much as they can manage! And Tahoe is beautiful - even though he looks a little irked. Did you wake him up too?

I find it interesting, the things we surround ourselves with when we are supposed to be productive.

  19. I love the pictures of your cats and the family photos. I can see why they would all be an inspiration to you while on your computer.

  20. Neither of the cats look too happy with you at the moment but Winston looks like I feel when someone wakes me with a question first thing in the morning.
    Mama Bear

  21. With all that wonderful inspiration around you, it's no wonder you always have such delightful and interesting posts:-) xoxo

  22. I love the picture of Winston! In answer to your questions:
We loved Australia - it was better than I thought it would be.
Andy is stationed near Colorado Springs. If we end up going I'll have to ask for some travel advice!
Heather is getting a degree in accounting - done in 2 weeks!
Hope you are having a great day!

  23. You have beautiful inspirations!
I love the cat in the bag picture.

Great inspirations and very cute furbabies. ;-)

  25. At work the thing that keeps me going back is the thrill in a child's eyes when they understand, when they finally *get it*. It is wonderful to help the light come one with students who so often get passed over, not because they can't learn but because sometimes there just isn't time to wait for them. I love being able to give them the confidence they need. I'm not sure how you take a picture of that.
Love your. I'm surrounded by pictures too -- Daughters and grandchildren -- another reason I do many of the things I do. :)

  26. Family and pets...that's my life! I do love my cats like you!!! Tahoe looks so much like my Oliver! Winston is a beautiful guy, too!!!

I am still working on the tile! My ex is coming tomorrow to help me set up the new ceramic saw I bought and show me how to use it. I plan to do all the cutting tomorrow and then hope to finish laying it all this week! Anxious to just get it finished now! ha-ha I work much slower than I did 20 years ago....ha-ha I keep telling myself, "What's the big hurry?" It'll get done when it gets done! LOL

    Have a great week, Anni!

    ((( HUGS )))

  27. The cats are cute. I'm not a fan of cats but IT Guy will sure love looking at these pictures. ;-)

Mine is up late... Happy Fun Monday! ;-)
