§ Lyric revision -- rated: PG 17

When I saw this stuff hangin' from a truck's bumper the other day, the children's song came to mind. Of course, I was humming the song all the way home...but really...after the initial shock of seeing this, I had to go back and pull out my phone to get a picture of it.   Afterall, I'm only human...and a little giggling now and then is okay in my book.   Tho it may not be appropriate for some Shadow Seekers, this is what I am gonna post anyway. And if I offend anyone, I apologize. But I gotta be me, what else can I be? rofl

Do your ears BALLS hang low?
Do they wobble to and fro?
Can you tie 'em in a knot?
Can you tie 'em in a bow?
Can you throw 'em o'er your shoulder
Like a continental soldier
Do your ears BALLS hang low?

Also, when I went out to Google to perform a search for the correct lyrics yesterday, I opened up my Google Bookmark, and this header came to my view [enlarge for bigger, readable views]:

Aha!! Someone else was celebrating a birthday, like I was. Out of curiosity, I had to find out just who else had a birthday, so I moved my mouse to the candle/cupcake graphic that spelled out "Google"... and to my utter surprise, the textarea box [the alt code] said "Happy Birthday Hootin'!" I couldn't believe my eyes. How did they, at Google, do that? I was shocked. Google has had these kinds of headers for special holidays, birthdays of the 'greats' like Einstein, Martin Luther King, American Independence, etc. But Hootin' Anni? No, couldn't be. So I clicked on the header and it then redirected to my Google Plus Profile. Amazing.

...and, to be honest, there for a few moments, I was in complete memory loss as to why I went out to Google in the first place. Oh ya, to find lyrics so I could copy, paste and share. Now, I feel a bit ashamed of myself for thinking as I did, on the lyric revision that is, and feeling compelled to have a bit of fun for when preparing a shadow post on Saturday afternoon. But, what the heck, at my age...well, never mind!!!  However it was all done, and whoever came up with this idea, I must say, the birthday was made extra special for me.  Thanks Google, and thanks to whoever did this.  I was completely speechless at the time, and really quite elated at the same time.  Wow.

§ Google's artsy fartsy new feature...I'm LOVIN' it!!

A couple of things this fine early Friday morning...

First...really cool!! [I can get excited over such little things like this] Have y'all seen Google's new feature? You can now change the background of the search page from one image to the next...also a feature you have a choice of using images from the 'public gallery' or upload one of your own images to use as background. That's nice. Nothing really earth shattering, but still a nice feature. For instance...this background of the Grand Canyon....click on the bottom, left hand "Change Background Image" then...scroll down through the shared photos!! Click on the one you like, and then just below you'll see "Save". Ta Da!!----

Secondly... China has hornswoggled America once again. And again, with the paint used in their items. Lead paint. Which in turn has forced the McDonald's company to have a recall. A 12 million item recall. And I for one have one of them. Just one. I never did get any other of the four since my favorite is Donkey. LOL In other words, the set of four Shrek 16 oz. drinking glasses that sold for $2 a piece at any participating McDonald's in the recent past have now a recall label on it. The company has since dropped all sales of them and have stated to not use them...return them for a refund. All because there is contaminants of lead in the paint used for the 'art' on them. Heck, I'm keeping mine!!! I never had any intention of using it for a drinking glass anyway...it's just going to be part of my 'movie' memorabilia. Maybe a vase or something. And besides, now that there is a recall on them,...they're worth more to a collector. I shoulda bought the Puss n Boots too. Oh well.
