With all the tragedies that have happened with Turkey/Syria this past week [I cried for joy when I saw the newborn infant being rescued even tho her mother perished in the rubble]. I thought a little humor could be in store...At least for a moment or two, these can bring a smile to those in need, and we can pause for a bit of laughter:

...and my favorite---

Heartbreaking photos. I saw the little baby, and watched a lady being rescued yesterday. Thank you for the humor today Anni. In the darkest times there has been something to smile about. It is good medicine as my mother used to say when she sat in the air raid shelters during WWII. There was always someone who could tell a joke and bring a smile.
ReplyDeleteYes! Laughter is good! Don't dwell on sorrow...people turnbitterwhen they cannot laugh.
DeleteVery true and I wish you much laughter in your life.
Delete🙂
DeleteI like the memes on beans the most. Funny
ReplyDeleteLol
DeleteHello,
ReplyDeleteI can't watch the news lately. Thanks for the funnies! Take care, enjoy your day and the new week!
Thanks Eileen.
DeleteGood ones, Anni! Loved them all, but as I sit here this morning sipping a cup of coffee, the third one down hit home. LOL!
ReplyDeleteHave a fantastic Sunday, my friend!
I feel sorry for the car! 🙂
Deletethe tv says as i type, 28,000 and climbing dead, it is a true horror! I am thinking the owner of the car did that to make a statement, the plate is made incorrectly. if it was turned the other way to read the number the expiration date would be upside down. I just found out the reason FL doesn't have front and rear plates, is Florida doesn't want to make more plates. cheaper to make one, not two. makes no sense because we pay for the plates.
ReplyDeleteThose are stickers...Colorado had them that way too...the car owner puts them on.
DeleteMy heart really hurts for the earthquake victims. No humor cuts it for me. Just makes me wonder...wonder...wonder!
ReplyDeleteSad, you don't find humor healing in stressful times! If just for a fleeting moment.
DeleteThank you for the smile despite so much sadness. I can't even begin to imagine the grief.
ReplyDeleteLove the bottle cap one.

DeleteIt's tragic how the numbers climb by the thousands every day. The blonde plate is definitely a "hoot"! Thanks for this chuckles. I can tell you why they really want to ban the gas stoves, but I wouldn't want to get in trouble.
ReplyDeleteDon't tease me. Inquiring mind here!!!
DeleteLove the memes. Needed the laugh. Coffee one is great. I have trouble threading the needle when it's not running. Trying not to think about the tragedy... imagining it is so horrific.
ReplyDeleteMe too!
DeleteThe blond was a good one and the beans made me laugh out loud.
ReplyDeletePolitical beans now!! lol
DeleteBlond is my favorite. Tooo funny, I wonder if UtaH let her keep it upside down.
ReplyDeleteToday it has been raining elephants and giraffes here in Raleigh and it is C H I L L Y

DeleteWith all the tragic events in the news we sure need some light-hearted moments. I like the Texas rain gauge. GM
ReplyDeleteLately, it can suffice!
DeleteOh, that last one made me laugh out loud! Yes, thanks for the smiles and grins, we can all use more laughter. :-)
ReplyDelete😁 indeed.
DeleteHa ha! Yes the last one is my favorite, too!
ReplyDeleteBut is it street legal? 😁
Delete😊. Thanks. We don't have TV, and I'm grateful for that.
ReplyDeleteIt helps. But news is online too.
DeleteThese are all too funny. I don't watch the news or read the papers so I don't have a clue as to what is going on in Turkey/Syria.
ReplyDeleteYou don't watch/listen/or read news? Blissful
DeleteLove them all! Thanks for the smiles!
ReplyDeletehugs
