Wednesday morning it was overcast and turned rainy! Once again, I stayed home, trying to entertain myself without TV! So, I went out and skimmed the news feed. There were a couple of articles that 'caught my fancy'. One was "What Color Should You Wear according to your zodiac sign". Ha! I scrolled down to find Aquarius, and it was one of my LEAST favorite colors! Aqua?! No way. Purple maybe or dark forest green, but aqua. I quickly left. Guess I was born under the wrong sign. LOLThe next article was under the "Local" section of my feed. Here again, I have to disagree with this reported write-up. Where I reside, Corpus Christi, Texas, it was ranked 53 of the top 100 cities in the WORLD, one of the most "loved" destinations to visit ....again, in the world! I swear, where do these journalists get their info? Well, this one happens to come from www.sentiment-index.com. Hmmm.

Articles like that are rarely true for me. I took a quick look and it said red for me. Nope, I rarely wear red. Black and blue are the two that I wear the most.

DeleteBalderdash! that is what both articles are. and I agree with you to disagree to agree... I think that is what I think. Tell the 90 million people here in Florida we are not a loved destination. The tourist traffic is so bad right now it takes 40 minutes to go 5 miles. Virgo says Gray, I have never and will never wear gray... its a good color for a house

DeleteAnni, being that I have an interest in astrology, I know that the gemstone for Aquarius (February) is amethyst (purple). So you see, you ARE attracted to the right color!

DeleteArticles like this where they say someone with a particular Zodiac sign should wear a particular color is absurd. You are wise to take it with a grain of salt. Of course, those who agree with the writer will think of them as the one who knows everything and follow them for everything. Then there's Chicago which is ranked #1 for calls to Orkin and I believe bed bugs. Thankfully, I'm in the suburbs. :-) Happy Birthday to you! May it be filled with welcomed surprises.

DeleteIn 1969 while I was shopping for my wedding dress...the bridal consultant told me to NEVER wear white...it drained my complexion, she selected (and I loved it) a warm

ReplyDeleteThe answer to your question on my blog post, our cat's name is Penelope. She is a rescue. She was left on a side of a major highway. She had a few injuries, a load of fleas and ear mites.
She is now 5 years old and is learning sewing and quilting with me. Ha Ha! ;-)

As for articles like you read, I just read something that recommended eating for your blood type. Well, that didn't fit at all. Maybe it would if one didn't have 'other inconveniences' like Migraines, etc. that make eating what they recommend a no-no. I guess it all goes to show that everyone can't fit into the same mold. (thank goodness)

ReplyDeleteI too try to stay away from the "so called news". All it does is make me grumpy. I do like the way aqua looks on me but very rarely buy it for myself. I tend to go for the purple tones. Most of the time I think those polls are silly and not very logical. I guess someone has to make money at that "job"
