I only have TWO of Jim Shore....they're collector's items [all of his work is] and can become very costly. I have more Christmas work of his than Halloween. Actually I have only ONE devoted to Halloween, the other witch is from my Wizard of Oz collection of his craft...
For the week, this will be the last of my Halloween theme...I'll get some more up and ready to publish for next week. I will do a couple of 'day trips' in the meantime.

Hello,
ReplyDeleteJim Shore does amazing work, his figurines are wonderful. Love the witches. Have a happy day!
I'D like more, but expensive!
DeleteBoth of these are wonderful. I don't have any Jim Shore. I've seen plenty that I liked but never splurged.
ReplyDeleteIt's truly "splurging".
DeleteJim Shore's work is just wonderful! Love your Halloween pieces!
ReplyDeleteThose, and his Santa's are my favorites.
DeleteLove your Jim Shore Witch!
ReplyDeleteI am also a Wizard of Oz fan!
Treasures they both are and they also bring their magick to the season Anni 🌙🎃🍁☕🍂👻
I have 'em all from WoOz, except the wizard (didn't care for any of those).
DeleteI had never heard of Jim Shore. He's a very talented artist, obviously. Halloween is now right around the corner! :-)
ReplyDeleteOh, his work is always good. IMO
DeleteJim Shore artwork is new to me. Nice detail in his craft pieces!
ReplyDeleteHis work has been around for decades.
DeleteI only have a few of of his work, but I do enjoy them. My favorite is a basket of Easter Eggs. Have a wonderful weekend!
ReplyDeleteEach piece is a treasure.
DeleteHe is new to me but I can see why he is sought after.
ReplyDeleteThe collectors dream, I would guess.
DeleteThey are fantastic! You have quite a collection :)
ReplyDeleteWhat I have, not many, but I do like those I DO have.

DeleteI really love Jim Shore's work. Collecting his art is an expensive hobby which I found I couldn't afford..I will enjoy it from afar. I have so many Disney art pieces that have eaten up my wallet!
ReplyDeleteTrue!
DeleteI love Jim Shore. I have a hutch full of everyday collection of his and then I switch them out at Christmas and put my Christmas up. I have the four of them walking down the yellow brick road!!
ReplyDeleteHave you ever shared your collection?

ReplyDeleteAll the best Jan
Thanks Jan.

ReplyDeleteWonder if anyone else saw it.
DeleteI've never heard of Jim Shore but can see he's talented.
ReplyDeleteHey, I thought of you today. I got out of work and there were cool clouds in the sky. One was dark and had a heart shaped hole in it. I thought Anni would love this!
I would have loved seeing it!!
DeleteWizard Of Oz, Nothing Better These Days - Way Cool
ReplyDeleteCheers
...a classic.
DeleteI'm showing my ignorance here...I had never heard of him. I went ot his site and read,
ReplyDelete"Jim Shore grew up in rural South Carolina, the son of artistic parents who instilled a love of American folk art. His grandmother was a master quilter who taught him the patience and skill to bring intricate designs to life. Jim worked decades developing his craft, manufacturing his own designs and traveling the country to sell his work."
I love the bit about patience and skill. Good for his grandmother, and good for him!!
His work can be pretty spectacular!
DeleteI never heard of Jim Shore before, but it appears he does amazing work! Now, I am wondering where do you store all your witches when Halloween is over? You must have a big storage place! That is what keeps me from collecting one. more. thing. No place to store it or display it. Yes, you should have an open house for Halloween and give a tour of the witches. You could charge for it and that would pay for more! LOL.
ReplyDeleteI have storage bins for all. Lol on an admission fee.
DeleteHi,
ReplyDeleteI have a Jim Shore Christmas decoration. I like her belt, very creative of Jim. :-)
Looking forward to seeing more.
Carla
There's more coming later this month
DeleteWicked, wicked photos of Jim Shore art!
ReplyDeleteIt's artful!
