“A wise old owl lived in an oak;
The more he saw the less he spoke;
The less he spoke the more he heard...
Why can't we all be like that bird?”

Just Pictures...and a FEW Words

Another birthday has passed....waiting for my annual Shrimp and Fries!!! Anticipation...

...it arrives to the table! And the day coincided with Fat Tuesday...aka Mardi Gras. [And I didn't have to do any flashing of the boobs.] The waitress gave us TWO strings of beads, and the three gentlemen at the next table found out it was my birthday and gave me THEIR beads. Purple ones!! My favorite color!!

Wildflowers along the ship channel walkway

Then....I spy!!

"I dare you to come closer!"

"I double dare you...."

"I mean it now....stay away from me or I'll poop all over that bench!"

"Fine, be that way.  I'll just mosey on over this way...."

"...heading on over here."

"If I hide in this grass, the ol' gray haired lady can't see me....trust me."

"Can you see me now?"....the camo works...right?"

"The game's over! Go away now, y'hear?"

  12. Hide and seek with a Heron, what fun.. love the pic of you waiting. Happy belated Birthday... all of your pics today are beautiful....have fun with your coloring book. i looked at one in Hobby Lobby but when i saw the price tag of 12.95 i did not buy it. maybe someone will give me one.

    1. I know....those coloring books ARE too pricy. I agree. But, when you consider the price of a movie admission for 2 hours of fun....one book will give your A LOT more pleasure than the short two hours for the same price as movie & popcorn/drink.

      Thanks Sandra.
