For fun today, I thought of participating in Saturday's Photo Hunt. At least 'til I went over to see the prompt for the week....'selfie'?!! Other than seeing ourgoofy leader and his insane antics with diplomats and the media covering his 'selfies', I thought I'd try my hand at catching the resident Mickey while hunting... and ask him to take a selfie since I don't do mine....He obliged!!

Ha ha ha!!! My son says that selfies are now passe and some people on Facebook are making fun of them. I just took my first and I think they are really cool!! I don't care what others say!
ReplyDeleteGood for you!!! Not caring what other say and doing your 'own thing' is a good trait in my opinion. Facebook? Blah, blah, blah.
DeleteGood 'ole Micky. Gotta love him.
ReplyDelete...yep.
DeleteCools shots ... love your post :) Wish you a great weekend!
ReplyDelete...and have a great weekend yourself Irene...thanks!
DeleteI love Mickey! When my nephew was very young, he would spell M-I-C-K-E-Y and say "cake" for "K" lol
ReplyDelete...too cute.

ReplyDelete...MICKEY Mouse!!! [roflmao] or in other words...rollin' on floor laughing my tail off ---roflmto

DeleteThanks!!
Okay, now you've done it! I've got that Disney tune running through my head on a continuous loop. Cute little selfie, Anni. You're pretty innovative, I must say. :-)
ReplyDelete:giggle: ....I have to laugh....the song is going through MY head as well.
DeleteBravo for a very creative selfie of everyone's favorite mouse...why because we love him and he wears red!

DeleteHi Annie, I was able to get my password fixed so I could comment again!
ReplyDeleteI have had some health issues since I was on here last. I am on dialysis three times a week. The Oats bus comes by for me. Friends and family stay with my
special needs girl Nancy while I am at dialysis. She will be 52 next week!
The Mickey Mouse song is going to sticking my brain too!!
Oh my goodness....it is just WONDERFUL to hear from you!!! And I'm happy on both accounts...that you're doing well and Nancy too.
DeleteThank you, Annie, now I'll have M.I.C.K.E.Y. M.O.U.S.E running through my head all day...lol! I about spit my coffee out when I read goofy/leader! No need for me to say more, I know we're on the same wave length concerning him. Cute post!
ReplyDelete....here too....Who's the leader of the club.......
DeleteLove Mickey's selfie!
ReplyDelete...thanks Pat

DeleteCute post! :-) Was looking for the Bird d'Pot this morning on I'd Rather Be Birding and you haven't posted this week's link yet. Will try again later. Hope all is well.
ReplyDelete...the D'Pot opens for new linking at noon each Saturday. Thanks Marie
DeleteVery cute.
ReplyDelete...thanks Denise
DeleteAww good picture of Mickey. No didn't find any good books at the thrift store and John just had a cleaning at the dentist. Just that does him in, acts like he had major surgery. lol
ReplyDeleteI personally think dental work is just that...a 4 letter word.
DeleteYou certainly live up to your blog name. This was a hoot! I read a statistic once about how many times a day Disney characters have their pictures taken at Disney World. It was an astoundingly high number, with all the shots with children.
ReplyDelete...how interesting. I love trivial facts like this!! Thanks Stephanie.
DeleteMicky sure been around for a long time..I think he older then me, 54
ReplyDeleteCoffee is on
...yep, been around for a long time indeed.
DeleteI love Mickey Mouse! What a fun and creative post :)
ReplyDelete...thanks Sue
DeleteWhat a great idea! Wish I had thought of something similar!
ReplyDelete...thanks! It was fun.
DeleteYou are honoured having Mickey Mouse take his own selfie, especially for your blog!
ReplyDelete...lol...that was mighty sweet of him.
DeleteCute! I used to be a clubhouse fan, till Disney got all weird. Oh whatever happened to Annette?
ReplyDeleteAwe, now that is too sweet! I loved Mickey Mouse Clubhouse when I was growing up and Annette, what a personality she was. So very sad, her long illness and passing away so young. Annie, I am letting everyone know, as some have sent messages... I'll be back next week. Having some difficulty adjusting to new medication and old ones, but will in time~
ReplyDeleteI don't do selfies either! Love that Mickey Mouse is still alive in well with the younger set.
ReplyDeleteOh I do remember him well. And Minnie too....:)
ReplyDeleteI have enjoyed this week's photohunt... Even for those who don't do selfies!
ReplyDeleteI was singing right along with the m.i.c. k.e.y song.
:-)
I bet there have been millions of selfies with Mickey at Disney World. It must be exhausting!
ReplyDeleteAhhh, we all love ole Micky Mouse...:)
ReplyDeleteFun photos! My granddaughter would love this balloon! She is just getting to the age where she recognizes cartoon and storybook characters.
ReplyDeleteI think I'd faint if I had to see Mickey walk out the door of an house.... Love your selfie!!! That word doesn't also not exist in my vocab.
ReplyDeleteA brilliant solution; love it!
