Pink legs?---a fashion statement that keeps going and going...

My fruit images last week was voted a 'winner' at Tina's Picstory.... And I grabbed the button:




Early in the morning, just after sunrise, the birds are so active this time of year...building nests; collecting twigs, dried grass and small thin paper-like objects. The white winged dove -with rose-colored, pink legs and feet was watching me watch her. I thought she was pretty as the sun hit its feathers amongst the new green leaves from the tree, above me. Then...way off to the other side of the yard, high above, on some other's property, there is an old light fixture with a broken, rusted connector dangling below... quite a few feet above ground; it's hanging off a power pole....the sparrows have confiscated it for building...while one is keeping sentry...another is inside the light fixture!!! Howard Roark they're not!!! [Roark is the main character, an architect, in Ayn Rand's classic novel, The Fountainhead], the home builder's association would have a field day with inspection on this one.
