Below the JFK Causeway there is a Intercoastal Turnaround...to make a "U" turn to go BACK to the island. If you don't do the turn...this is what you'll come up on!!! Just to the right of this barricade is a Boat Ramp for Public Use...and a Bait and Fish Tackle Shop [Master Bait Shop...oh I couldn't resist] Good thing the closure is so well seen, huh? The water is deep, deep, deep....an abyss the farther out!! It wouldn't be ME who'd defy the law. No siree! Above the barricade is the four lane paved bridge [causeway] from Padre Island to Corpus or visa versa....

ReplyDeleteWe've been past there many times; we love Padre Island. (I think I just *may* have told you that a few hundred times alread.) I'm pretty much an obeyer of signs anyway, but this is one instance where wow you'd better that's for sure.
