“A wise old owl lived in an oak;
The more he saw the less he spoke;
The less he spoke the more he heard...
Why can't we all be like that bird?”

Sit a spell....this meme'll take some time!!

Sunday Stealing:

Our dear hostess, Harriet ===This meme will either age me a great deal or show y'all I did my homework this time. LOL... I don't know which. As, I LOVE Disney!! [mostly because of the art, but the music is great also!!] My answers I made a bit interactive...click on the buttons and listen/watch. It'll be a bit o' fanciful fun with the king of movies....Mr. Disney-----------

Sunday Stealing: Harriet's Choice: The Disney Meme

1. Which non-Disney Princess Disney Film is your favorite? At first, no after reading this question three times over, I think I understand it now. It means a leading lady that was done by Disney that isn't a princess? Then, my answer would be:

2. Which Disney film makes you cry the most? I know I refused to go see it, and still refuse to watch it---Eight Below!!! I really can't recall doing much crying during Disney movies...it's a toss up between two for the animated movie genre - One from long ago I think. ...a story about an orphaned girl- it'd be The Rescuers -about Penny. And Brother Bear, a Native American story of the relationships/ties between humans and animals:

3. Which Disney film makes you the happiest? Happiest only 'cause it's a favorite movie for me. The humor mainly:

4. Which Disney film has the best music?
Music? As in "NO LYRICS" ---a theme song? No doubt here...it HAS to be [I love the drums...the rhythm, the beat, the acoustics!!]:

POTC

5. Which Disney film has the best love story?
It'd have to be the love of his dogs...in Eight Below. [I know of it...Bud saw it....and the man's love for his sled dogs----well, tears are welling...you know what I mean if you know the story---this is LOVE at it's highest]

6. Who is your favorite Disney Princess? 7. Who is your favorite Disney Prince? This couple is so reminiscent of a favorite novel of mine so #6 and & #7 answers would be for the same movie [the story reminds me of Phantom of the Opera in so many ways with disfiguration and love of a beautiful woman]

8. Who is your favorite Disney animal sidekick?

Probably "Baloo" from 'The Jungle Book'...the bear. The BEAR necessity in the movie. LOL

9. Who is your favorite Disney main character animal? Only 'cause he becomes the great 'prince' of the forest. I like it still today. I like it because of the strength his mother taught him even after she is gone...he grew up strong because of her will given to him at birth!

10. Who is your favorite villain?

11. What is your favorite Disney song?

From 'Song of the South'

12. What is your favorite Disney villian song?

From Lady and the Tramp

13. What is your favorite Disney animal song?

14. What is your favorite Disney Princess song?

From Snow White

15. What is your favorite Disney Prince song? I'm not 'into' much of the prince and princess Disney...but as an adult the only prince that can really sing isn't even royalty, and not considered prince by definition, ....but, when he sings he's a PRINCE to me... I melt when I hear this song:

But the real Disney Prince song would be:

From Lion King

16. What is your favorite Disney Prince/Princess duet song?

From Aladdin

17. What is your favorite Disney love song?

From Lion King

Which Disney Princess Are You???

According to the answers you have just chosen you are most like the Disney Princess Belle.

Belle is as lovely as her name implies but her natural unaffected beauty is far more than skin deep. An intelligent and avid reader Belle yearns for faraway places and exciting adventures. She is a loyal, loving daughter and when the beast finally wins her trust she gives him all her kindness and patience and then realizes she has also given him her heart. With her inner strength and outward beauty, Belle is a young woman who can and does make things happen.

REGARDING THE TSUNAMI THREAT on the islands of Hawai'i....I'm glad it was a 'bust'....and I hope when and if there is another situation like yesterday's, that the citizens still continue to pay heed to their government and reach high land when told to do so!!!

  3. Great post, Princess. As to my spring flowers - the blossoms are yellow. The leaves are fat like little succulents and they stay put all year round, even in the freeze. Then several times a year they produce those spikes you saw and they open into bright beautiful yellow flowers. Don't know what they're called. I just call them my happy little yellow flowers. Thanks for visiting, and for keeping me entertained.

Why don't you come on over to my blog and visit a while

  9. Good Morning Anni Sweetie...
I love your Disney selections. Some of them are mine also.

I hate to tell you but it has stormed here all night and is still raining today. So that means you are going to be getting some of this soon. Be prepared. It is cold this morning. I do not like the cold as it really makes my bones ache with my arthritis.

Try to have a beautiful day sweet friend. Please know that you are so loved. Country hugs and much love...Sherry

  11. Boo, my netbook seem loath to play any of the songs, though I can guess most of them. Good choices, though sadly I've never even heard of Eight Below. I almost picked Baloo too, though I couldn't work out if he was an animal or an animal sidekick. Have a great Sunday.

  15. Great answers for this meme that I didn't do. For some reason I was a little busy yesterday and well Disney? I couldn't figure out how to be my usual lovable sarcastic self ROFLMAO.

Our state did a tremendous job if you ask me with handling the entire event yesterday. I was so proud of them and just at awe with the Civil Defense. Our TV stations were on spot and it just all worked out well. Even the citizens of our fine state and tourists alike all did their part. I'm grateful that it was a bust and if and when it happens again I know we will just unite and get the job done again.

  19. I love your answers... I had forgotten about National Treasure being a Disney movie... and I love Nic Cage. Like I said on another blog, everytime I read another post, I remember something else by Disney that I love!
Thanks for posting the link to the Disney Princess quiz... I'm Cinderella, which happens to be my favorite Disney movie. :-)

  20. Belle is the right Disney heroine to be. Smart and courageous!

Eight Below was on last night and I didn't watch it. A friend took his daughters to see it and HE got misty. The folks at Disney made me cry enough with Old Yeller. They don't get to do it again!

  21. From the time I can remember, I've always loved all the Disney films, cartoons, etc. I hope to one day be able to visit Disneyworld/land, oh to feel like a child again:-) I remember crying the first time I saw Bambi, when his mother dies...I was sobbing in the theater! lol

    I took that quiz...

According to the answers you have just chosen you are most like the Disney Princess Cinderella.

Although gentle and soft spoken, Cinderella has a keen intelligent sense of humor which she wisely keeps hidden from her cruel Stepmother and jealous stepsisters. Finding delight in her tiny animal friends, able to sing as she works, Cinderella has true dignity something her Stepsisters could learn a thing or two about. Despite moments of heartbreak and disappointment, Cinderella holds onto her hopes until goodness and beauty are rewarded and dreams that she has dreamed do come true.

I think I like being Cinderella! lol xoxo

  22. That took some time, didn't it!
I love the music from Lion King and Beauty and The Beast. I have the sound track to several of the movies from later years.
    Mama Bear
