6 WORD SATURDAY
SPRING IS COMING OUR WAY---FINALLY!!!

Respectively, my pomegranate tree is budding! ---The rose box roses are thriving! ---The lantana is becoming green again. We even mowed the lawn and edged it a couple of days ago. I'm lovin' it-------in fact, in the last two days we've had clear skies, no threat of rain, and warmer temps! Today it's predicted to be near 70 degrees for a high! And nighttime temps have been a lot milder. Ahhhhhhh, finally, back to normal down here in the south. It's about time. But of course, if everything goes according to Anni...she'll be b!tchin' about the heat in a month or two.

CAMERA CRITTERS

On the island, you'd see this dolphin sculpture on the property of The Sand Castle Curiosity and Gift Shoppe! Perhaps, if you'd name 'em, I'd guess they'd be the Three Amigos?

A lovely blogger, SHAKIRA [I LOVE this name...it's so melodious!!], told me she had passed on this wonderful award to me. I'm so thrilled! Thank you kindly sweet lady!! I'm very humbled...and I truly feel honored by you to pass this on. On her list of recipients Shakira states her reason for awarding me: "7. HOOTIN' ANNI'S because she ROCKS!" I love this!!!! Thanks again.
I'd like to pass this on to all the wonderful bloggers who visit with me today!! If you take it for yourself, you need to list seven things about you that we 'don't know'! Leave a comment for me that you made out your list---------
Seven of 'my things'
1] Lemon Lime No Caffeine Soda
2] Iced Tea with NO Sugar!! Or hot Green Tea [no sweetener]
3] Margarita, straight up [I do indulge in this 2x a year]
4] Gimlet [I like the lime juice mostly!] And since I'm not to drink alcoholic beverages because of my heart meds...I settle for Icy Lemonade.
5] COORS only...and draft preferably [once a month]
5] Milk [fat free]
6] Icy Chocolate Milk [made with FF milk/Hershey's syrup]
7] Hot Chocolate - no marshmallows

Good Morning Sweet Annie...
ReplyDeleteOh my I so love the new header with the little green fellow. You always brighten my day. How precious he is.
You flowers are coming to life for sure. I know about the mowing, I too had to mow, edge and completely weed around the property. We are expecting upper 70's through this afternoon and rain later tonight through tomorrow, so look out you all may be getting it next. Sorry for the bad news. I look at it as a free sprinkling.
I have to tell you I loved the green vignette you shared below, it is so beautiful. Ofcourse everything you share is, but I especially loved this one. Thank you sweetie for sharing.
