For Ruby Tuesday I'll post the photo [sorry for being so blurry, tho] ---a red plastic spider goblet that I bought at the Dollar Store for Halloween. Actually, I bought two. Then, the same day, at the same store, I bought a package of the battery operated flickering lights and added one each into each goblet. They both sit at opposite corners of an end table in the dining room, surrounded by the seasonal webbing.

TAG!! You're it!!
Consider yourself mOOned...big time! Anybody that is here today! But...
The rules only state that I cannot tag the one who tagged me first. So, Thom you just stay away 'cause I've been known to toss a few pumpkins now and then!!
I MOON...
Pea...since it's her birthday today, it's a given!!!
The "G" Man - just 'cause.
Nessa...she says to me she LOVES Halloween. Well, How Scary is this, then?
Tina - she's a sweety...hope this isn't too offensive!
Mary - she loves Halloween too. [besides, it was HER birthday yesterday..this is just the frosting on the cake, right?]
Lenore - 'cause her blog name, Lenore, is so POEtic for this time o' year!!!
ABRAMYANS - this, my friend, is as close to witchy as I can get for you...and you thought Halloween was fun? Think again. [kidding]

Oh and...what a game The Rockies and Phllies had last night. A close one. Up into the 8th inning when Colorado went ahead. By two!! Then....in the ninth. The Phillies scored THREE! And Brad Lidge [a former Astro] closed again for the Phillies...keeping my Rockies at bay. It just wasn't going to happen. The Tie!...nope, nope, nope. FOR THE LAST 16 years that I've followed them from home games in Denver to Spring Training in Tucson...I say once again "There's Always Next Year"! Dang.

Oh my goodness, what a howl! I must send that 'moon' to the Hubs! haha! Aren't we having a great time at Pea's party?! She throws a good party for us each year!
ReplyDeleteAlways enjoy reading your posts!
That is a great idea for the spider goblets. I think I will see if our dollar store has any. I think I'm all set with the pumpkin moon...ewwww...
ReplyDeleteYour posts are always so interesting, thank you.
ReplyDeleteThe blurring you referred to adds to the glowing effect.
ReplyDeleteHi Anni!! HA! HA! HA!.. and some MORE HA's!!!! It looks like painting the back of Charlie Brown's head must have inspired SOMEBODY here!!.. But his/her "big-A'd" sense of humor took it just a step (or so!) FARTHER!!! (0; Don't know that I can forward this though. I work for a church, and while I DO think this IS very funny!.. I'm not so sure it would be smiled upon by my employer(s), should one of them see it! Thanks for my morning giggles though!... Love the spider goblets!! If I wasn't packing, I'd be running to buy some for HERE!.. I hesitated to take the quiz, as I know MYSELF WELL! Ha! Ha!.. but I thought "Let's be adventurous". I'm wondering if a tad bit of bitter resentment clouded my thinking, and rose to the surface. No, not ALL men are the same!!.. (0; As I'm SURE I should KNOW this, I only rated a "STUDENT"!! I was told to let loose my hold on "him"... And I did just THAT, HAPPILY, ages ago!! Ha! Ha! Ha! Well the laughs were fun! I've got to get busy packing again. There is so MUCH here to do, it's scaring me! Have a good day! ~tina

ReplyDeleteWhoa, I never thought I'd get mooned on my birthday! LOL Thank you so much for the birthday wishes, dear Anni:-)
ReplyDeleteSo many wonderful causes out there and it's great to see that no matter how poor the economy is, people still dig deep in their pockets to make donations.
I've seen those spider glasses at our dollar store and what a great idea to put one of those candles inside of them! Only you would think of doing that:-)
I did that quiz and here's what I got....
You Are a Good Student of Men

ReplyDeleteYou sure did look dressed up at Pea's party and I must say it looks like everyone had a great time.
ReplyDeleteIt also looks like lots of food.
I enjoyed reading your post.
Sorry about your Rockies.
Have a great day.
Anni,
ReplyDeleteI've been mooned. LOL That is so cute and funny too. Love it.
I was very impressed to see the football players wearing pink a week ago Sunday when Dwight was watching the game. Pink are bands, some wore pink runners and more...all to promote breast cancer awareness. Brandon couldn't believe they would wear pink. I told him it's only a colour but the significance is very important.
Have a wonderful day and thanks for the moon.
Blessings,
Mary
Ooh, that is scary. Anni, you're a hoot!
ReplyDeleteMama Bear
Anni what a smart idea about the lights in the goblets two instant scary lamps!
ReplyDeletevery cool!
hi anni...so nice to hear from you again.
ReplyDeleteyou always have such nice things to say!
i just love this goblet and it doesn't look blurry to me..
it kind of reminds me of the christmas lights that mom golden used to put on the tree every year when the nine golden children were just little kids.
i think that it would be very nice for you to use at christmas anni...maybe buy a few more!
that punkin is a bad boy,,he needs a pair of trousers drawn on him!
i will never forget the day that bernie, when we were first married had a ned zeppelin record called "stairway to heaven" and it had a picture on the front of a bunch of little boys climbing up a stair way and their bums were bare.
well, i took a magic marker and fitted them each with a nice pair of blue jeans!!
hahhahaha!!
have a great ruby tuesday dear anni.
