ReplyDeleteLove all the hand pictures and you even included the Corpse Bride's hand...very awesome!!! lol
ReplyDeleteI will definitely be taking part in Earth Hour, already have my candles out and ready:-) Have a wonderful weekend my friend. xoxo
I really enjoyed the hands.
ReplyDeleteSo that is why the lights will be turned off on some monuments tomorrow. Saw a blurp about it, but didn't take time to read the article. I guess I should have, but then I've got Anni to keep me informed.
ReplyDeleteOur whole State is turning the lights off tomorrow, Anni! And I think other States and cities in Australia are doing the same thing, so we will all be in the dark and trying to save our planet.
ReplyDeleteGood Evening Anni,
ReplyDeleteI decided to pop in tonight and see if you had your Saturday post done and lo and behold you did, so I'm way early now. LOL. i enjoyed looking at all the different kinds of hands you have in your home. The corpse bride's hands I would have to overlook because I'm not a horror movie person. Hubby and the girls are tho. I usually go in my bedroom and watch Food Network when they are watching Horror movies. I will do my best to make sure our lights are off at 8:30p.m. tomorrow evening. I had no idea about the WWF. "THANK YOU" for letting us know about it. Also, I didnt' get no Bloomin' Onion tonight. Hubby said it would be bad for me too. LOL. So we ended up going to our favorite chinese Restaurant, The mongolian, Bar and Grill. They have Seafood there and we pigged out on the Crab Legs. LOL. Take care my friend and have a great weekend. May GOD BLESS YOU AND YOURS.
Love,
Karen H.
Love the clock's "hands"!!! nice collection for the theme.
ReplyDeleteI have my candles ready for tonight, happy weekend :)
thanks for the earth watch reminder. good, good idea!
ReplyDeleteHi Hootin' Anni'
ReplyDeleteI'm here. I lost your url address on my blog. I had no choice but to write a quick note to you. You can ignore my note. My eyes just weren't seeing well.
Your blog is simply delightful. It's just pleasant being here. I do want to see the Easter Lily. I can't find it. Help. Thanks.
Great selection of hands! Happy weekend
ReplyDeleteVery interesting entries Anni. Happy weekend. Mine is also up.
ReplyDeleteMade me remember my eldest daughter asking where the Corpse Bride DVD is :D She would love that doll since she has a Jack Skellington stuffed toy.
ReplyDeleteHappy weekend, Anni :)
Great photos of different hands. We will be taking part in Earth hour in our little corner of NC.
ReplyDeleteCece
oops... i didnt realize it was 'the Corpse Bride's hand...very awesome!!!' lol
ReplyDeletelove the pics. did u observe earth hour?
ReplyDeleteAnni,
ReplyDeleteFirst of all, I adore your cute Lily in the post below. She's adorable and I can see why you just HAD to bring her home. She is lovely with the green and chocolate rabbits beside her.
Enjoy your hands photos. You always do a great job with Photo Hunt.
Hubby will be sleeping at 8:30, but I usually have the lights all off at that time with the exception of the one in my computer room, but will turn it off for an hour as well. We all need to do our part to raise climate change awareness.
I will have the boys today. Both parents are working and I'll see what we can do for fun.
Blessings for a great weekend.
Mary
Cool photos! I love the Indian carved hand. My Photo Hunt is up! I hope you get a chance to visit me, too.

Happy weekend!
At first I thought it won't have much of an impact but I'm rethinking that. If enough people take part it may mean something.
ReplyDeleteBetter would be one day when nobody drives except for essential services.
Nice hands and thanks for the reminder of Earth Hour, I completely forgot.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the reminder...just think how much energy we'll save!
ReplyDeleteLovely shots all, Anni, and thanks for the reminder - will do as prescribed, I'll just have me a beer in the dark ;-)
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend!
Cool collection of hands. Mine is here, a variety -

I hope by "Native American", you meant a statue's rather than an actual person's hands there! ;D
ReplyDeleteHi Anni - thanks for stopping by my blog. I like that you included the clock hands in your pictures. I wouldn't have thought of that!
ReplyDeleteJust finished observing Earth Hour and catching up on my rounds. Love your photo collection of hands.
ReplyDeleteNice Variety. Blessings.
ReplyDeleteGreat selection of hands. Thanks for reminding the Earth Hour.
ReplyDeletethat's a corpse bride hand? :) my! :D that's cool.
ReplyDeleteGreat photo hunt!
ReplyDeleteI didn't even think of the hands on a clock.
I'll only have to turn off ONE light tonight - I don't know that that will make much difference to the world... but I will do it! But... does that mean we have to turn off the television and the computer too??? ;)
ReplyDeleteGreat collage of hands! I chose to just go with one! And since Luz wasn't around... it's not hers!
great take, anni!
ReplyDeleteClever collection of spins on the theme! Like them alot!
ReplyDeleteLots of neat hands! I came to see your Easter Lily too.
ReplyDeleteHowdy!
ReplyDeleteI love the first shot, the Corpse Bride hand, and the Native American carved hand.
I never even thought about the hands on a clock!
ReplyDeleteWe are going to participate in Earth Hour tonight, too.
great thoughts for the theme...thanks for visiting mine
ReplyDeleteThe hand pictures were very nicely done. Thank you for reminding us to turn off electricity for an hour tonight, I do know that our climate is changing at an alarming rate. Hope you have a nice weekend.
ReplyDeleteWow! You have a lot pictures of hands! I had a tough time coming up with just one. Nice job.
ReplyDeleteKeep forgetting to mention it - like your blog's spring look.
I didn't think about the Cabbage Patch hands... I collected them before I had my daughter and ended up with almost 30. Recently we managed to pare them down to about 15 but I have one special one on display... a porcelain collector Cabbage Patch who is gorgeous! They are sooooo cuddly!
ReplyDeleteMine is here.
Nifty collection of hands - lights out here tonight. Actually, I took a carbon footprint test, and didn't even register - I'm into conserving, re-cycling and making do...
ReplyDeleteEnjoyed your 'hands' Anni.
ReplyDeleteGreat hands photos for this week - have a good weekend. :)

ReplyDeleteGreat choices. I like the movie Corpse Bride. I watched it several times.
ReplyDeleteYou know, the Cabbage Patch Doll was my dream doll when I was young. Sadly, that wish was never fulfilled.
We participated in Earth Hour too. We turned off the lights and had chocolate fondue in the garden lanai. It was fun.
