  3. So that is why the lights will be turned off on some monuments tomorrow. Saw a blurp about it, but didn't take time to read the article. I guess I should have, but then I've got Anni to keep me informed.

  4. Our whole State is turning the lights off tomorrow, Anni! And I think other States and cities in Australia are doing the same thing, so we will all be in the dark and trying to save our planet.

  5. Good Evening Anni,
I decided to pop in tonight and see if you had your Saturday post done and lo and behold you did, so I'm way early now. LOL. i enjoyed looking at all the different kinds of hands you have in your home. The corpse bride's hands I would have to overlook because I'm not a horror movie person. Hubby and the girls are tho. I usually go in my bedroom and watch Food Network when they are watching Horror movies. I will do my best to make sure our lights are off at 8:30p.m. tomorrow evening. I had no idea about the WWF. "THANK YOU" for letting us know about it. Also, I didnt' get no Bloomin' Onion tonight. Hubby said it would be bad for me too. LOL. So we ended up going to our favorite chinese Restaurant, The mongolian, Bar and Grill. They have Seafood there and we pigged out on the Crab Legs. LOL. Take care my friend and have a great weekend. May GOD BLESS YOU AND YOURS.
    Love,
    Karen H.

  8. Hi Hootin' Anni'

I'm here. I lost your url address on my blog. I had no choice but to write a quick note to you. You can ignore my note. My eyes just weren't seeing well.

Your blog is simply delightful. It's just pleasant being here. I do want to see the Easter Lily. I can't find it. Help. Thanks.

  15. Anni,

First of all, I adore your cute Lily in the post below. She's adorable and I can see why you just HAD to bring her home. She is lovely with the green and chocolate rabbits beside her.

Enjoy your hands photos. You always do a great job with Photo Hunt.

Hubby will be sleeping at 8:30, but I usually have the lights all off at that time with the exception of the one in my computer room, but will turn it off for an hour as well. We all need to do our part to raise climate change awareness.

I will have the boys today. Both parents are working and I'll see what we can do for fun.

    Blessings for a great weekend.
    Mary

  17. At first I thought it won't have much of an impact but I'm rethinking that. If enough people take part it may mean something.
Better would be one day when nobody drives except for essential services.

  29. I'll only have to turn off ONE light tonight - I don't know that that will make much difference to the world... but I will do it! But... does that mean we have to turn off the television and the computer too??? ;)

Great collage of hands! I chose to just go with one! And since Luz wasn't around... it's not hers!

  38. I didn't think about the Cabbage Patch hands... I collected them before I had my daughter and ended up with almost 30. Recently we managed to pare them down to about 15 but I have one special one on display... a porcelain collector Cabbage Patch who is gorgeous! They are sooooo cuddly!
    Mine is here.

  49. Great choices. I like the movie Corpse Bride. I watched it several times.

You know, the Cabbage Patch Doll was my dream doll when I was young. Sadly, that wish was never fulfilled.

We participated in Earth Hour too. We turned off the lights and had chocolate fondue in the garden lanai. It was fun.
