“A wise old owl lived in an oak;
The more he saw the less he spoke;
The less he spoke the more he heard...
Why can't we all be like that bird?”

  12. That is so cool, You have great ideas for Halloween. You are a very busy lady. I love to be there when all the kids come to your house. One year, my brother wore a gorrilla out fit and jumped down from a tree. You could see every one run in every direction.

  29. Thanks Anni--this greeting is almost as good as the pumpkin pie I just had for breakfast. Unfortunately it was not of the recent homebaked by Anni standards, but still passed muster. . .

    You have a great Wednesday. My personal Geek Squad is coming over after work today to help me give my blog layout a makeover, including a new very artful header. She's a champion scrapbooker and 'puter guru, but can't rival your art work. I'm excited.

  33. Anni,

    Wonderful! Bud has a great imagination. I can relate to how spooky it is because I have the groom from the Nightmare before Christmas hanging from the porch. Last night the wind was strong and all the ghousts along the porch really did look ghoulish. I love it!

    The boys and I saw these at that little speciality shop we go to and they cost about $70. Good work, Bud! You go!!!

    Have a wonderful day, my friend.

    Hugs,
    Mary

  42. What a ‘hoot’ you are about Halloween … I can only imagine how spooky that hanging is in your yard. Give Bud my compliments. I’m almost wordless at Sacred Ruminations today. Thanks for dropping by Small Reflections to help me celebrate my 1st Blogoversary.

  46. Re your comment about the leaves and the grass - I think he's afraid that the grass will get moldy - we do have taht problem on occasion.

    I didn't realize you had a sister in Montrose - it is a nice town, too!

  47. Yikesssssssssssss! What a great creepy crypt creature...try to say that ten times fast! lol Bud did a terrific job with it and I can well imagine how spooky it looks when it's swaying. Wouldn't have wanted to meet THAT on one of the ghost tours! lol

    I bought some fake shiny spiders today...going to attach them to some of my carved pumpkins on Halloween night, making them look like they're crawling out of the eyes, mouth, etc. I was surprised at myself for buying them because spiders petrify me! lol

    Congratulations to your Halloween treat winners:-) xoxo
