Nothing really special this week. These photos are of my guitar [with strings!] that I've had for many years now. It's been ages since I've even played it. I don't know where my pick is, and I just lost interest in it, but never gave it away....

PS....I just found through blogspot/blogger -a new photo meme for Sunday's only...
It begins tomorrow...

  2. Anni,

Well, I learned something new about you today. I didn't know you could play the guitar. I'm glad you kept it. It is lovely.

Drop over to my place and pick up a special something I have for you.

    Blessings,
    Mary

  4. It's just like the keyboard I have, I haven't played it in years and yet I haven't had the heart to give it away! My mom use to play the guitar quite fluently when she was young but after she got married and had babies she didn't have time to spend with her guitar and had given it to one of her brothers. About 4 years ago, I bought her one for Christmas and she just sat there hugging it and crying:-) She said she doubted she would remember how to play but she keeps playing it and is starting to remember how to play quite a few songs...45 years later:-) xoxo

  15. When I was a kid I tried learning the guitar but every single lesson I broke a string and had to sit out - too heavy handed :) You should take it up again, it's a great skill to have.

    Great shots :)

  47. Thanks for the link to the new Sunday meme … methinks I might participate on one or the other of my blogs. Like yours, my guitar’s been neglected since I retired from teaching … though I do play occasionally (until my uncalloused fingers start to hurt too much). My ‘strings’ are at Small Reflections today. I'm watching the storm track and am beginning to pray for all the folks on the Gulf Coast. Do take care.
    Hugs and blessings,
