My Little Drummer boys
ooh spring. I want spring ! !
ReplyDeleteI keep SAYin' I'm gonna get around to that message in a bottle --- but the only THINK I can THINK these days is "a mind is a terrible thing to waste..." .... OY!
ReplyDeleteYour WW is beautiful. Reckon I better go scare up somethin' for tomorrow!
I like anything purple and those purple flowers are looking great. Awesome green thumbs you've got there :P
ReplyDeleteI'm glad those beautiful irises are in bloom somewhere!
ReplyDeleteI like your message in a bottle, too.
Good Evening/Morning Anni,
ReplyDeleteYour Japanese Iris' are just beautiful. "THANK YOU" for sharing them with us. I guess it will be a while before anything starts blooming real good around here. I just hope it doesn't do like it did last year and when Spring came and everything was out in bloom, it came a big killer frost. Killed nearly everything. The Message in a Bottle Meme sounds fun. I enjoyed reading your message. I don't have any kind of graphics program on my computer to do anything like that. My DH has now decided to wait on getting me another computer. I guess he knows best sometimes. LOL. As long as I can still post and visit on this one, I will keep it till it quits on me. I'm really surprised it hasn't already quit on me. It is a Windows ME and it is obsolete. There are no more updates for it. Take care my friend and have a great evening/day. May God Bless You and Yours. I will have something for you on my Wednesday's post. It will be up sometime after 6:30a.m.
Love & Hugs,
Karen H.
Wow, those Iris' are really beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI love your message in your bottle. That was a great meme.
I love those flowers! Those remind me of my childhood! My mom had those in our garden and I would tell her that they smelled like grape candy! :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful message. I love the flowers too. Happy WW.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous flowers! I love the message too.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pictures! I also like the 175 word challenge and am going to try it out! The message in a bottle meme was fun. I did that one on my This That blog and sent the picture to Mimi Lenox, she's displaying them
ReplyDeleteAnni, you are bewitching!
ReplyDeleteHi Anni, thanks for visiting--did you see the kitty hiding behind the picture frame? The frog--I think that's Kermit. It's my DH's office.
ReplyDeleteAbout message in a bottle, my picture is here
And Mimi, the one who is creating a place to display them all is here. I really liked yours...she'll put yours on display too. She has a slide show of Dona Nobis Pacem (from last October)
Hi Anni, Love the sun streaming on your Iris Trully lovely Photo's.. Jen
ReplyDeleteThe irises are lovely.
ReplyDeleteOur azaleas are blooming here now. I love this time of the year with them all over the place in Savannah. Your flowers are gorgeous! I am going to be getting into my flower bed next month and start fixing it up again for the Spring and summer months. I love living where there are flowers year around. Sandy
ReplyDeleteWow - I was thrilled (and surprised) by three purple iris blossoms this week, but your photo reminds me of the stand of yellow iris that came up (and stayed for the longest time) in my front yard the Spring after I 'reclaimed' it. Just beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI'd love to do the Message in the Bottle Meme but have no clue how to put words on an image. What program do you use to do that?
Hugs and blessings,
I get spring feeling when I see your WW pictures !
ReplyDeleteI did the Bottle meme too it's cute !
I love love love the iris! I long for spring. Another month or so for us. Message in a bottle looks like fun, maybe I will do it for mondays memes. Have a terrific day!
ReplyDeleteThe best color of irises to me are these. I can't wait for spring.
ReplyDeleteSo, I was sitting at my computer and realized I hadn't read anything from Hootin' Anni in my bloglines recently - looked you up and you were gone from there. You aren't allowing RSS feeds anymore?
ReplyDeleteOh very pretty flowers! I can't wait for spring and all of the beautiful things it brings. Happy WW! :)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful, beautiful, beautiful. Thanks for sharing the beauty that surround you.
ReplyDeleteThose are my Friend #1's favorite flowers. Thanks for helpin' me think of her right now. :)
ReplyDeleteMy bottle's out there somewhere... Sooner or later, I hope to find tranquility. Maybe it's just a momentary thing that helps us remember what it's all worth.

Irises and sunshine! What a pleasant oasis on this day of another foot dump of snow. I can't go out because my plow guy has not come. The town has not plowed. The state doesn't know we exist. But your photos help keep me focused on reality: there is life outside of these mountains! My WW is here. Thank you.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful flowers! and I love your message in a bottle. The message itself and also the way you allowed some sunshine on the letters , it is a pretty effect.
ReplyDeletethanks for the tips
ReplyDelete♥ U !
thanks for visiting me
My Little Drummer boys
You have irises already? We don't see those until June. In fact we have the never ending layer of snow and we'll be lucky to see crocuses by the end of March. Then again, I would die in Texas in the summer.
ReplyDeleteThe flowers are so pretty. It is so cold here right now, I am glad the flowers are not in full bloom. Jennifer
ReplyDeleteIt's really stimulating to see flowers again. Great pic's.
ReplyDeleteand:

Like having a Cat or two. I'll come back to that subject later.
