In the movie,
Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid [circa, 1969], the two are hired on to protect the Bolivian bankroll being transported from town. Well, this was my first thought when I read that this week's theme is colorful. While they botch the whole trip going 'down the mountain'; the character, Percy Garris [played by
Strother Martin] has the loot on his mule in saddle bags...they're on their way home, and Percy sings Sweet Betsy from Pike, talks about the countryside, and just before being shot and killed by the Mexican bankroll robbers, he's quoted:
"That's what happens when you live 10 years alone in Bolivia: you get colorful..."<><><>
THIS WEEK'S THEME: colorful
This is a four part collage of some garden fairy figurines/statues that I've been repainting and refinishing these past few weeks. They've been sun-bleached to a monochromatic gray [as you can see the drab coloration of them
here]. And I wanted to make them once again, more colorful----
