It took me some time to go thru my files and find photos for Sue's challenge. We were asked to show some images of rust. In my opinion there is no way to beat hers, but I still took the challenge and searched for some, even if small amounts. Here's my paltry 'rusty' images:
Naturally, when there is mention of 'rust' then, first thought is something old, corroded, and metal of some kind [could be bone/joints, but only when we have a hip replacement or 'new knee surgery', so a photo of me wouldn't work out]...

This is a chain-link fence. My dilemma would be, why is it rusting? Shouldn't this product be galvanized steel? And, isn't something that is galvanized supposed to 'resist' rusting? Maybe the salt air we have here from the Gulf? Dunno.
I'm thinking that this wheel hidden in the dried, dead, brush, is maybe a water valve of some kind? Your guess is as good as mine. If you actually know what it is, I'd be more than happy you share with me. All I know is, it's rusty!
Of course you wouldn't think I'd forget the fact I see rust a LOT along the ship channel! Even the anchors on these cargo ships are covered with rust!!
But wait, there's one more... then, in art, painting, etc. 'rust' could be a color and not necessarily metal. Like a rust colored leaf? Okay...I found a rust color!! And a leaf to boot. That is good marks for me, tada!!! According to the RUST | definition in the Cambridge English Dictionary› dictionary › English › rust -having a reddish-brown color...
