Fancy a Cuppa, and a Rabbit or Two?...

Several months back, I cleaned out the dining room hutch where some holiday treasures are saved. From Valentine's Day, St. Patrick's Day, Easter, 4th of July, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. It was getting cramped with too much stuff, so I decided to declutter a bit and donated many little trinkets; mostly Easter Egg Cups! I went down from 40 to just a dozen. Now I can get the cupboard doors to shut properly! LOL And, not having so many items to unpack, and then repack when the season is over takes less time too. These shown below are what is left over from my gutting the shelves!!...

You must have saved all the best because they're so cute!! In a decluttering mood last Easter I must have donated my tea pot that played "Put on Your Easter Bonnet...." Remember that little ditty? How could I have done that ??

    1. Yes, I do remember the song...you, a lot of times, wish you hadn't donated something special, but the happy part is knowing someone else is enjoying it now.

I had absolutely no idea there are so many variations on egg cups LOL. Yours are adorable! Funny, but I am most intrigued I think by the clear glass chicken one. When I pulled out what I did of my Easter things, I realized I have a virtual plethora of eggs. Eggs of every type, color, genre, etc. We should have coordinated as I would have had more than enough eggs to fill all your cups LOL. ~Robin~ (TheCrankyCrow)

  15. Hi Anni,
I like your Easter decorations. I have been downsizing my decorations this season too.
I wanted to answer your questions about the color of maple syrup. When the season just starts out and the sap starts to flow, it is a light color syrup. It starts to darken as the season continues. The dark sap has the strongest flavor.

Good for you, Anni! Doesn't it feel great to declutter? I live in a very small studio apartment, so it forces me to minimize. But still, I sometimes acquire things that start to build up and eventually have to give away to free some space.

LOVE the ones you kept; especially the rooster one and that final one. So cute!

Hope you had a super Sunday, my friend!
