Drawing time about 20-30 minutes! This was a very simple sketch while I waited for our Easter meal to finish cooking [Baked Ham, sweet potatoes, steamed brussel sprouts and warm oven rolls]. For dessert I made from scratch Irish Ginger Apple Cake topped with frozen vanilla yogurt [I didn't make the yogurt tho :-)]. As you can see, my sketching pencil is becoming close to a 'stub' in this preview sketch!! We had several things to do on Monday, including an appointment for Bud, so we decided to go to Hobby Lobby for my pencils [I also found an egg separator on sale for 66% off 'cause it's Easter theme]. Then, we stopped at grocery store and book store! Making it a day away from home.

precious bunny, you know what comes next, I am jealous. can't help repeating myself. sounds like a great day out away from home. i need a day our or a few hours out myself. I have a nice box of pencils but they don't work for me. HA HA..
ReplyDeleteA beautiful bunny drawing with the perfect eye that mesmerizes! I wish my family would embrace sweet potatoes at Easter. They all say it's a "Thanksgiving side". Plus some don't even like them. So I have to eat loaded cheesy potatoes. :-(
ReplyDeleteNice job on the bunny sketch!! Dinner sounds delicious.
ReplyDeleteYou had a most delicious aroma while sketching the adorable bunny
ReplyDeleteI will be googling Irish Ginger Apple Cake
Hugs Cecilia

You had me at bunny. You know I love me my bunnies - the bigger the fluffle, the better LOL. Yours is so very sweet - how I wish I had even just the talent you have in one of your little fingers. But you must be way more organized than me - I'd be rushing around like crazy with the "last minute" things...like setting the table, cleaning up the kitchen (maybe), etc. etc. Probably a contributing factor to my not entertaining anymore.... ~Robin~ (TheCrankyCrow)
ReplyDeleteThat's strange that you can't open my blog. I'm afraid I haven't a clue why.

ReplyDeleteJealous, envious and talented are three words that come to mind when I see your sketch. Anything I tried to do would look more like a stick figure rabbit. Yours is incredible!

ReplyDeletemore :-)))

I also love the bunny. He looks a great deal like his cousins that live under the garden shanty. I really need a slice of that cake right now. Hilltop Post
