Bev Doolittle Wall...

As with the previous post I concluded with "I'll post some of the art work" in the room...

I will begin with the three framed Bev Doolittle works which I grouped together on one wall. Two are from jigsaw puzzles. One is a real signed and numbered print of hers Bud bought from an art dealer in Colorado [He and I both like her work! This one below is Bud's favorite].

Woodland Encounter
Bev Doolittle
Note: Most of her work is of "hidden" ojects. In this, The red fox is the focal point, among the birch trees are two hidden Native Americans on horseback. Because of the angle I had to shoot the image, the reflections of the room makes it very difficult to find them. Look closely. One is on each side of the fox...to help, look below!

The other two on this wall are framed jigsaw puzzles. MY favorite is titled The Forest Has Eyes. This mountain man scene has 13 faces hidden in and around the entire scene. Look in the rocks, the trees, etc.

How many can you find?

And the last one is actually a set of two done in a series. The puzzle is only of one...

The Guardian Spirits
[in this case spirit] The hidden images are quite noticable...

More wall art coming up!!

  1. These are wonderful! I especially love the first one. Beside the hidden figures, the painting itself is so beautiful! With the birch trees and fox in the distance.

  4. WOW, LOVE these. When you circled the two in the first picture they stuck right out. I have a wolf painting on my living room wall that has 2 very obvious wolves and then several more hidden within the picture. Now I want to look for work by this artist.

  7. Anni, these are all beautiful pieces of art. I'm with Bud, that first one is my favorite. And I love how clever she is in the hidden objects. And I immediately saw that when I enlarged the first one and thought I was seeing things. LOL!

I found eight faces in The Forest Has Eyes. AMAZING jigsaw puzzle. I've never seen anything like it.

Thanks for sharing, my friend. Have a fabulous weekend!

I like this artist's paintings. That first one, with the fox and trees, is my favourite. Good thing I could enlarge the pics so I could see the hidden objects. GM

These are all kinds of amazing! I love hidden pictures. (Funny because I can't stand picture in picture features on tv's LOL). Can't wrap my head around doing a puzzle of ANY of these. Yikes. New-found respect for you Miss Anni. ~Robin~ (TheCrankyCrow)

  22. A very talented artist! I also like the one with the red fox/trees.
We just put a giraffe puzzle together and I glued it for possible framing. I think puzzles are neat to display as art. Yours are good choices! Looking forward to seeing more art from your home.

  23. Glad that there are others who also would frame their jigsaw puzzles. At first, I didn't even see faces in the puzzle. Now, every time I look back I see even more. And they stand out so obviously. Yet, at the beginning, they were unseen.
