While strolling through a park I had a very merry time.
I saw birds of a feather,
all grouped together
and some near dried reed and olive brown slime!
But, when I was done taking pictures and stuff,
I left the boardwalk and climbed up the bluff.
As I turned the curve on the path to get there
I was startled; a creature unexpected. 'Twas quite a scare!!
He was dressed all in green, and with fingers of fur...
I wasn't really at all that sure...
...as he tossed his head to and fro!
"Was he nice or grinchy, I did not know!"
Whispering quietly, I asked "Just how far from here is ol' Mount Crumpit?"
I passed close by him and then I knew it was okay...
...for I heard the sweet whistle of a hummingbird trumpet.
He said "Merry Christmas" and I was on my way!!!
