"Hi Neighbor!"

I'm sure you're all getting a bit bored with Santas, elves, gnomes and such. I have a bit more, like my Jim Shore Santas and some odds n ends to share, but I thought I'd take a break in the holiday themes and invite you to take a walk at the park with me. Just strolling along some hidden pathways, a few avid birders that dress in birding camo to be 'politically correct' even in birding trips [I have to laugh to myself when I see these outfits, sorry!], views of the ponds and such. Come along. The morning is crisp, and the air is clear. In other words "It's a beautiful day in the neighborhood, a beautiful day in the neighborhood, could you be mine, won't you be mine...please won't you be my neighbor"....

I would be singing the opposite song. Its a beautiful day in the neighborhood, when it is minus other people it makes me feel good. please don't move next to me, stay way far away that is how I want it to be.. I love those steps and the two paths close to them... i never get tired of seeing your Christmas or any of your collections..

  8. Enjoyed the walk. The light at the top of the stairs was reassuring in these times though the stairs look like they need a little work, kind of like our current situation.

  13. These old steps look kind of rickety and dangerous. Have you ever been on them? Funny about the gird camo, I wonder if one could get closer wearing this...

    1. Not really...surprisingly, they are reinforced by the dirt.

  16. Lovely day for a walk, and I enjoyed seeing the ducks especially. I am still waiting for our ducks to reappear this winter. There are a couple of wood ducks out on the pond, but they stay on the other side where I can't see them very well. I hope the others come back where I can see them. They are such fun to watch. It rained here today, so no walking. Thank you for sharing your walk with us. It was delightful!
