I'm sure you're all getting a bit bored with Santas, elves, gnomes and such. I have a bit more, like my Jim Shore Santas and some odds n ends to share, but I thought I'd take a break in the holiday themes and invite you to take a walk at the park with me. Just strolling along some hidden pathways, a few avid birders that dress in birding camo to be 'politically correct' even in birding trips [I have to laugh to myself when I see these outfits, sorry!], views of the ponds and such. Come along. The morning is crisp, and the air is clear. In other words "It's a beautiful day in the neighborhood, a beautiful day in the neighborhood, could you be mine, won't you be mine...please won't you be my neighbor"....

I really enjoyed your neighborhood!
ReplyDeleteVery nice photos, Anni!
Thanks Ella.
DeleteIt does look like a beautiful day in the neighborhood. I don't know about those steps though.
ReplyDeleteP.S. Gibbs said to say hello...lol
Rofl...Gibbs is such a doll!
DeleteI would be singing the opposite song. Its a beautiful day in the neighborhood, when it is minus other people it makes me feel good. please don't move next to me, stay way far away that is how I want it to be.. I love those steps and the two paths close to them... i never get tired of seeing your Christmas or any of your collections..
ReplyDeleteLol...love this rendition too!
DeleteLovely photos of your world and your walk. You've got some nice paths to take.
ReplyDelete...one of my favorite areas.
DeleteOh! I LOVE the stairs with the light at the top! Great shot!
ReplyDeleteSeems a lot like the same photo as you!
DeleteI love walks like this.
ReplyDeleteMe too!
DeleteGorgeous pictures, Anni. Thank you for taking us along. I adore the picture of those wooden stairs! ~Andrea xoxo
ReplyDeleteEnjoyed the walk. The light at the top of the stairs was reassuring in these times though the stairs look like they need a little work, kind of like our current situation.
ReplyDeleteSerious connecting thoughts from the photo.
DeleteThanks for the invitation to join you on this walk. It was very pleasant.
ReplyDeleteGlad knowing you enjoyed it.
DeleteBeautiful photos and thank you for the walking invite. I enjoyed it☺
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you came along Molly!
DeleteLove all the pictures, and now I have an earworm of that song. It's a good one and I'll enjoy it all day long. :-)
ReplyDeleteIt can be a feel-good song.
DeleteBeautiful place for a walk! That staircase though....
ReplyDelete🙄
DeleteThese old steps look kind of rickety and dangerous. Have you ever been on them? Funny about the gird camo, I wonder if one could get closer wearing this...
ReplyDeleteNot really...surprisingly, they are reinforced by the dirt.
DeleteIt definitely looks like a beautiful day in the neighborhood! I love the shot of the steps.
ReplyDeleteIt was.
DeleteThank you, Anni. I loved the walk!
ReplyDeleteGlad you came along Mary.
DeleteLovely day for a walk, and I enjoyed seeing the ducks especially. I am still waiting for our ducks to reappear this winter. There are a couple of wood ducks out on the pond, but they stay on the other side where I can't see them very well. I hope the others come back where I can see them. They are such fun to watch. It rained here today, so no walking. Thank you for sharing your walk with us. It was delightful!
ReplyDeleteWood ducks!! I love them so.
DeleteThanks for the pictures and the Mr. Rogers memory. 🙂
ReplyDeleteDid it stick in your head all day like it did for me?
DeleteSo nice to see the beautiful place you were walking.
ReplyDeleteI'd love to walk along there.
It's one of my favorite areas.
DeleteA lovely walk and I do like the photograph of the steps/staircase.
ReplyDeleteAll the best Jan

Deletewhat a beautiful walk. Thanks for taking me along.
ReplyDeleteI need to get out and take a walk...I think tomorrow it will be CostCo..sometimes one feels like its miles around the warehouse. HaHa..
Can't wait to see your Jim Shore stuff. I like his work.
Sue
I count my steps in stores too!
DeleteHow I would love to be on the walk, too.
ReplyDeleteThis time of year it's perfect..
DeleteA walk in the woods & no mosquitoes!
Sure are blue skies for a walk.
ReplyDeleteCoffee is on and stay safe
