Along the 3 mile trail at Indian Point Park, near the Corpus Christi's North Bay, I saw these scenic views Saturday morning. The trail, the observation decks, the pier, the tidal pools, the Gulf, a grandfather and grandson fishing, a tanker, and the early morning light....

[note: there is a ship on the water in the last photo in the above series also...enlarge it, on the horizon just off center]

...by late afternoon, it was raining heavily. Again.
Nice batch of pictures, Anni. You have such a good eye. :-)
ReplyDeleteI really enjoy this area...all kinds of good photo ops.
DeleteI love the change in seasons. So many opportunities for photography!
ReplyDeleteWe have change of seasons. And cold winter's (high humidity makes for bone chilling days/nights)...but rarely snow.
DeleteI like them all! The wooden deck and railing appeal to me. What is the reddish color in the last shot?
ReplyDeleteIt's just sun flares on the lens
DeleteI really like the shot of the grandfather in the red hat and the railings. so much beauty in our world , so little time to capture it...
ReplyDeleteThey were really enjoying the morning together I like to think.
DeleteNice to see those Grands fishing together. Those moments are the most important.
ReplyDeleteThey definitely had a quiet time, I'm sure.
DeleteThis is all so beautiful. We don't live near anything like this.
ReplyDeleteIt's pretty until a hurricane hits! :-)
DeleteIt is no wonder you became a "Day Tripper." Wouldn't it be a shame to miss out on these beautiful scenes? The observation decks really appeal to me.
ReplyDeleteThe park has three decks & a long pier.

ReplyDeleteIt is a pretty spot on the globe...I think. Thanks Terri
DeleteKind of enjoyed Grandfather and grandson also. Building memories. Also loved the silver on the waters.
ReplyDeleteWater is beautiful here...with sun reflections.
DeleteIt may have been raining in the afternoon but what a beautiful morning.
ReplyDeleteThat, it was.
DeleteOh yes .... saw the ship.
ReplyDeleteThat's great Joe
DeleteLovely kite shot and it was doing some odd rain, snow thing here over the weekend with way too many puddles and slush. Is it spring yet?
ReplyDeleteIt's,like Spring here this afternoon.
