Been Framed!!!

I've been ordering and framing some of my bird photos I've taken, and saved on the computer  for the walls, to add to my sanctuary.  I like to call it 'sanctuary',,,Bud has begun calling it 'The Bird House'...

Altamira Oriole, Golden Eagle, Female Green Kingfisher

Snowy Owl, Violet Crowned Hummingbird, Aplomado Falcon, Red Knot, Bay Breasted Warbler, Mississippi Kite

Ringed Kingfisher

The white blossom is Mexican Olive [I thought "Lonestar...on the Texas Flag"] - A favorite birding area that is getting a facelift after last year's hurricane, and my Don Juan Climbing rose

  1. A bird sanctuary that requires no bird seed or cleaning. Sounds good to me.
To answer your question from my blog about how long it takes me to do the cakes, it all depends on the size and what they want on it. A small one I can finish in maybe 15 minutes. We actually don't bake the cakes there. We order them in frozen.

  2. You must be running out of space for all your wonderful pictures, Anni. Maybe you need an addition to your home, a room like a museum for all your art! :-)

    1. ...it's a heckuva lot more costly than a photo album to be sure (but on the other hand, I see 'em daily & they're not packed away in some drawer).

  5. I like the name Sanctuary best, because it is YOUR sanctuary... they are beautiful. I have framed DOGS on my wall, the only thing on my walls are my own framed photos...
