This is a very large sized collage [1450x1625 pixels]. So, in my software program I saved it with a jpg optimizer which will make the colors a bit distorted, accomplishing a shorter loading time. But, you will still get the gist of the series. One man was out off the sandy shore just a short distance, trapping live bait. Once his net had some bait, he came in and placed the live fish in the tank. Well, his actions brought on two very curious egrets [young Reddish Egrets - one white morph, one dark morph]. They watched the man, then the white one left and flew out into the sea just a way off shore, while the other dark morph egret remained; trying to figure out how to get inside for breakfast! I guess you had to be there; it was comical!

And farther from this action, a couple was walking along the beach with their dog...seems the dog didn't want to be free...it wanted to be on the leash. Or maybe, since the last image in the series shows the pooch tugging at the leash, it wanted to go back home to its Kibble 'n' Bits!!! lol

On the water, there were a few surfers! Yes, the morning was warm....again [or should I say still?] Temps soared to near 90 degrees on Sunday!

These are all fabulous. The egret and the dog both have me laughing
ReplyDeleteLaughter for me too.
DeleteI like that first series, we have spent many happy hours watching scenes like this. when whe lived in st pete, we were on the beach at Johns Pass several times a week and this was a common sight and so funny. we also loved walking people walking on the beach like your second collage. beach walking and watching is our most favorite thing to do... once we were histercial watching a heron eating the bait out of a mans bucket, one by one. the fisherman was on a dock and every time he turned his back the bird stole a small fish..
ReplyDeleteIt's a fun pastime; people watching.
DeleteI like the first series, too. It's comical, I agree. You keep coming up with new and interesting ways to show me your wonderful environment. :-)
ReplyDeleteThanks D J

DeleteThese are all great! The first bunch is pretty funny. It almost looks like something you would see in a Disney cartoon. I can almost hear those birds talking! :)
ReplyDeleteNow that you mention Disney...yes.
DeleteI would have loved to watch the egrets...I bet I would have been laughing.

DeleteI wouldn't have been able to resist feeding the egrets! My dog does the same thing with the leash - always wanting to play. I can't even imagine 90 degrees right now - it is barely above freezing right now, here in WA. I would be in heaven!
