Got a good reason For taking the easy way out

unbearbeitete bilder

Tina's Picstory challenge for us this week is: "unbearbeitete bilder" Which translates [according to Google Translate] - "unprocessed images". Now I'm being honest here, I'm not sure what she means by this, and I'm hoping that she means images that are not touched up...and right out of the camera ---

How I wish it were Spring again. These images below you'd see in our front yard in full bloom. But only in Spring and late Fall...right now, with the parched land, and those dictating us to conserve watering....my roses are looking mighty poorly about now. So, I see these in my archive photo folder and just dream of cooler times again soon---

---they ARE 'unprocessed images' except for my watermark. :o) The name of the patented rose is SIMPLICITY....I like 'em very much 'cause they're quite like a wild rose with single petaled blossoms and very light in fragrance.

  2. I do love them - I just removed 2 rosebushes that were devilishly thorny and replaced them with 2 others that are fragrant, not knockouts. That is a beautiful bloom - and such a soft pink. Gorgeous!

    1. I only clip them once a year...then TONS of water this time of year just to keep them alive.

  6. It's raining cats and dogs on my part and I wish it would stop soon. Typhoon after typhoon is hitting us badly.

Any flower in sight brightens up my day. That photo has been taken wonderfully! As if someone has stoked some pink paints on it with darker hues at the edges. Beautiful!!

    1. According to Aerosmith, "pink is my favorite color". I too love pink roses. They're so delicate and feminine. [for lack of a better word]

  8. Beautiful! They remind me of my knockout roses ... very old-fashioned looking ... a simple pink rose with single petaled blossoms, which is why I chose them.
