The "William M". A RUBY tugboat going out from the harbor house to greet a tanker coming into the harbor. Tina's Picstory theme last week, which I didn't participate in was 'wet' & this week it's azure for the newest photo challenge. I don't think you can get much more wet than the sea. And the sky is a light azure blue... LOL [next week Tina's photo challenge is the letter "H"]
CONNECTING TO:

When we take our boat out on the river, we get to see lots of tugs working. I don't know why I am always so fascinated by these boats - I take photos every time! This looks like a nice big one. I always enjoy seeing them working - I once saw t of them pushing about 300' of floating pipe down the river!
ReplyDelete...I never tire of going to the ship channel to watch all the activities.

DeleteI love tug boats...they are often under appreciated but I've seen one in action and what mighty little boats they are!!

"mighty" is so true!!!
DeleteThe big tankers take on a mighty persona. Yet the smaller and less flamboyant tug is what is needed when Mr. Mighty enters the harbor. Big is important but the tug alone decides who gets t offload the cargo...nice ruby tug!
ReplyDelete...all I know is that this area of the city is always entertaining to the eyes.
Deletewell it looks like you did quite nicely at killing two birds with one stone. Oh my that may have been the wrong saying to use. Forget about killing birds with stones. Nice job on the shot :)
