Mine this week:
If I had a hammer...

I'd hammer in the morning...

I'd hammer in the evening

All over this land.

Song: If I had a Hammer
photos:
hammer [obviously]
morning on the beach
nightime starshine from back yard
"land" is Kings Ranch [photo posted before HERE]
I love that song.
ReplyDeleteOooo I love that song. And I love the photos. That night photo is awesome. Very well played. :)
ReplyDeleteIf you live in Singapore, if you hammer too much, you will have your neighbor hammering on your door.
ReplyDeleteSo many expat internationals are not used to living in a closed highrise building. In deed there has almost be physical fights over the hammer.
Love it! I haven't heard that song in years. I really like the morning on the beach.
ReplyDeleteCool! This is probably my very first favorite song. I even remember the first time I heard it. I was at my grandma's house and one of my cousins was listening to it on the radio. I looked to see the number on the radio dial. From then on I was hooked on music. Love the photos! When I lived in Texas, my job took me by the King Ranch on several occasions. Unfortunately, I never had time to stop.
ReplyDeleteA stormy sea is often impressive.
ReplyDeleteI take some pictures on 8Th march 2008.

ReplyDeleteI love your morning shot.
Another very pretty header picture! Thanks for the visit at my nook. This is such a fun meme.
ReplyDeleteI haven't heard that song in eons...great visuals to go with it!
ReplyDeleteNever heard this song before! Great photos!
ReplyDeleteNow I have that song in my mind!! lol What a fun idea to put pictures to the words of a song. Every time I see a picture of the seashore where you go for a walk all the time, I sigh because I can just imagine how wonderful it must be to start off your day that way...or end the day. Beautiful!!
ReplyDeleteI just came back from the little mall near my place and noticed all the Halloween stuff is out. I'm guessing your stores are probably taking theirs out as well...now you'll be in your glory! hehe xoxo
That was a fun song to illustrate with photos.
ReplyDeleteall over this land
ReplyDeleteVery good.
Mama Bear
How clever! Hope you're doing well!
ReplyDeleteThat is absolutely brilliant, Anni. I remember the song well, although it was written by Seeger & Hays in 1949. I remember it only from Peter, Paul & Mary.
ReplyDeleteLove the photo of King Ranch. I would love to see it, as Dad worked there when he was a young man.
I emailed you but haven't received a reply. How are you & Bud?
Blessings,
Mary
