There is much I feel I need to cover today in my Monday Morsels. B...a dear blogger sent me over to this blog...two older women and their views. This one post in particular, I loved, and dear "B" knew me well enough to give me directions. Going Rogue without a Condom The article [which I had to have Bud sit down and read also] was that of how we feel in so many ways even without reading 'her book'. The blog section was written and published by Helen at "Margaret and Helen Best Friends for 60 Years and Counting." I thought I'd share the link to it for others.

Altho the daylight hours are beginning now to be fairly warm with highs in the upper 40's or lower 50's the nighttime temps are still hovering near freezing. I thought it'd be fun to crochet me a winter cap for when I walk on the beach during the cold, windy weather. I bought me just one skein of yarn yesterday while we were out for our Sunday Brunch...only to come home and search for a cap to crochet. I found a pattern, something different with a little "Spring" touch to it. I'm trying. Don't know if I'll get the stitch correct tho. LOL But, it's worth a try. Also, I'm in the middle of sketching a favorite big cat ... a tiger. I needed to take a break from it and thought I'd do my Monday post for a 'time out'. As I said yesterday, I've sketched quite a bit because of the cold weather lately...having to stay indoors. I'll post some of the drawings in time. One in particular for the year's anniversary of Jan. 20th's inauguration. No it's NOT Obama. But I'm gonna save that and post it ON THE 20th 2010, one year later.

ReplyDeleteI loved your post today. So you are crocheting yourself a nice hat. I hope you are working on one for your twin here. I have been so sick and have been so cold, if I had a hat, it would've been on my head. I got bronchitis and it is trying to turn into pneumonia on me. Am on lots of meds to help stop it in its tracks. Not fun.
I love to read your lists. They are so much fun. We like to eat in a so many of the same places and love a lot of the same shows. I really never realized that I had a twin out there, but I think I have found her. How funny is that?
As far as Edwina, yep she visited me too. I did the same thing you did Sweetie, and deleted that puppy as quick as it came up. Sick people hu?

It's a little warmer here this morning. minus 5C, which is 22F. Still not warm by any means, but maybe our high today will increase, though there is no sun yet.

Mary Well, if she does decide to run for presidential office in America....I don't think the GOP will even get her on the ballot since she screwed up the campaign last time for McCain. She'd have to start a new party to even get 'on the ballot. Of course that's MY opinion

I agree with you such a frustrated person should write here dirty things in an own blog WE ARE NOT INTERESTED, not even in chinese, lol !

ReplyDeleteOne good thing about WordPress is that the spam catcher (Akismet) for comments does a very good job and crap like the comment you got always go into the spam folder. Why people have to do this crap is beyond me but they do. It's sickening if you ask me.

ReplyDeleteI just went to read that article and even though I haven't read the book, I had no intention of ever reading it anyway because I've always said that Palin is full of herself and nothing she could ever write or say would interest me one bit.

Yup, I've had visits from Edwina as well and in fact they tried to leave their little comments in some of my older posts from a year or two ago but due to the fact that I receive the comments in my email, I was able to go delete them right away. I wish these people would go get a life and let us just have simple fun with our blogs. xoxo
Very good Anni that you take time to look on this "Edwinahugh". The name rings a bell it seems that I read that name somewhere since I am also in a lot of meme's which I found very good to start friendship in blogosphere. But with this kind of people who I think wanting to fish and maybe attack computers with viruses hmmm not really good.
