ReplyDeleteWow. I have never seen brown pelicans in flight before. In fact I have never even seen a brown pelican...or any color pelican for that matter.
ReplyDeleteThose are great! Nice that they work for both too!!!
ReplyDeleteSniffie and the Florida Furkids
The sky is beautiful! Lucky pelicans to fly amongst such beauty.
ReplyDeleteLovely. Watching birds fly in the sky (as apposed to flying somewhere else?) is relaxing.
ReplyDeleteSilly Saturday #7 - Charm or Chores?
Hello Ann, thank you for stopping by and leaving a comment I do appreciate it. I didn't made my pink bird I bought it at a garage sale hehe ^-^
ReplyDeleteHaven't seen pelican I don't know if there is one here in MI, but I like birding from my window. And found out blue jay's are bullies hehehe.

Cool. Reminds me of the time I saw about forty cranes in formation. Quite awesome.

Nice capture! The sky is pretty in this one too.

ReplyDeleteI know my American friends are all very busy, but if you have time, do come and visit mine.

Bird
Anni, Pelicans are interesting birds. There used to be a place about a 40 minute drive from here where they had hundreds of them, but it closed down many years ago. Not sure if the pelicans still come there or not.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos, as always.
Glad to hear you got some rain. Just hoping that you don't get too much now. Wishing you a great day.
Blessings,
Mary

ReplyDeleteOh, I love this shot. Reminds me of my years in San Francisco, watching them hunt the surf at sundown in squadrons; formations sailing up and over and down behind the big greyback waves. Glad I stopped by. Mine is over here: http://healingmagichands.wordpress.com/2009/11/21/photohunt-birds/

ReplyDeleteHave a great Sunday! I finally finished Part II!
G'Day Hootin' Annie, I came for a visit because I often see your name pop up in the comments of my favorite blogs I visit. So we must have something in common there mate. Love your background paper, very pretty.
ReplyDeletePretty pic of the sky with pelicans. We have them here too but thy look quite different to those brown ones I have seen from over there. Ours are predominantly white with black markings and larger.
Oh Anni, this is such a beautiful and peaceful shot!
ReplyDeleteI would die to live near a large body of water! You can find the most wonderful creatures that live near the water.
The pelicans are so greaceful in their flight.
And the pink spot near the sun is just stunning. You are really quite the photographer!
Sorry it's been so long since I've visited. Hope you will forgive me!
