the alphabet challenge is directly below the Wordful Wednesday
No matter whether it's a child on two or four feet, there always is a fascination of the toilet water! What it is, I don't understand, but it's there and it's watchable to an indescribable degree. I've seen small children [of the human kind] on Wednesday blogs, either wordless OR wordful, so I thought I'd get one of my four-legged children caught in the act of dipping in..... [And no, I know inquiring minds wanna know-I really don't carry the camera around when using the facilities....I just happened to catch Tahoe in the act and ran for the camera. Honest! Okay, okay....since you really need the truth, I kept flushing the toilet 'til she jumped up to see what was happenin'!!!]
Very nice post my friend, love the cat.
ReplyDeleteoh you're the best, how much water did you waste, you naughty girl, heee heeee heeeee
ReplyDeleteit reminds me of an e-mail my sister once sent me, being a letter to 'my dear animals', and the one of why do they scratch at the door when you're in the bathroom... after all, they've been in there often enough, know there's no another door to escape through and the window's too small, so they should know by now that i have to came out the same place i went in?????
have a lovely day anni!!!
I like how you confessed at the end! Cute photos.
ReplyDeleteOh yes, all kids looove it! I actually have to put a child safety device on the lid. But my labradors will not come near it - clever kids those. Thanks for popping in at my place
ReplyDeleteLove your letters! I found mine too :)
ReplyDeleteHaha!! My best toilet-and-child moment was the day when I heard my husband yell, "Don't eat the peanuts off the toilet seat!" My preschooler was lining her nuts on the toilet seat and then eating them off one by one. :)
ReplyDeleteThat's so cute! I find it amusing how kids and pets find the water twirling so fascinating.
ReplyDeleteI love your letter i. It's a great find. You did well on both.
ReplyDeleteI myself share the same fascination with the toilet. ;-)
ReplyDelete*lol* Soo cute!
ReplyDeleteI have two cats who also love the toilet!
ReplyDeleteI love your alphabet pictures...How creative!
Very good letter finds!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful cat : ). I know, I know, toliet water is one of those fascinating things you just can't play with enough...
ReplyDeleteYour posts are always so charming! I love it!
I have a 22 month old who has the same fascination!
ReplyDeleteBlessings!
Curious cat! Children indeed are the same! I really like your alphabet! A magical WW to you!
ReplyDeleteLOL That is too funny! My dogs love toilet water....so strange :)
ReplyDeleteyou are so very creative with your pictures. We don't have 4 legged kitties here so we have to keep the bathroom door shut or my 2 legged kiddies will drink the toilet water!!
ReplyDeleteMy 10 month old discovered the toilet 2 days ago, I'm still horrified. :)
ReplyDeleteYou are so right with the toilet thingy. Joey and Abby both love to get into it.
ReplyDeleteGreat picture.
thanks for stopping by my blog
Anything shiny or spinning will captivate the best and the least of us:-)
ReplyDeleteWow - I've never seen the alphabet challenge - that is very cool. I'm a grammar queen. Letters completely fascinate me.
ReplyDeleteThat hook though, somewhat frightening.
My Oldest is campainging for a cat - he'll love that picture!!
Something vvery cute about an inquisitive kitty.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful black cat.
ReplyDeleteI didn't think that "i" was any more far fetched than MY "i"! LOL! I think it was an excellent i! And a GREAT J too! You haven't had to leave home to find a single letter yet! That is great!
ReplyDeleteOh! And my Kitty LOVES the toilet water too! Freedom has never even glanced at it -- but Kitty? He's checkin' it out ALLLLLL the time!
ReplyDeleteHi Anni! So you've stayed at the Intercontinental Beach Resort in Cozumel too?! Yes, I know about the crew that 'sweeps' the beach. It was quite interesting. We enjoyed staying at the resort. The beach, the oceanfront view and the hotel room were simply fantastic, we couldn't ask for more! :)
ReplyDeleteAbout the kitty..yea, I know. My own one year old child's favorite section of the house is the bathroom now and dips his hands on the toilet bowl any chance he gets, LOL.
Glad to see it is not just my son who is fascinated by the toilet. Or maybe that means that he has the IQ of a cat?...either way, he practically LIVES in the toilet.
ReplyDeleteI love your alphabet challenge, I'll have to try that!
I used to have a dog that would go into the bathroom and randomly flush the toilet himself. It was strange, I remember the first time he did it. I guess it was amusing to him! Nice shot :)
ReplyDeletehehehe ! I just imagine the picture, you hiding behind the toilet with your camera until a cat comes and looks in it ! Arthur when he was little he fell in the toilet since then he never looked again !
ReplyDeleteCats are so funny! Yeah I don't get the interest of the toilet my one year old is very interested right now and it isn't very fun.
ReplyDeletewe have to keep the cover down Harvey fell into the toilet once and man did he make a mess.
ReplyDeleteTell me about it! My son loves the toilet.
ReplyDeleteLove that pic!
Hi Anni... I am loving your alphabet postings... So cute.. And the picture of the cat was priceless even if it did take several flushings to get her interested...
ReplyDelete(((HUGS)))
Donna
Isn't that the truth? Love the new look of your ever changing blog design. :)
ReplyDeleteAnni,
ReplyDeleteTahoe is a beautiful cat and yes, flushing the toilet would make him curious.
I'm enjoying your alphabet challenge. How in the world do you think of all this stuff. I'm waiting to see what you use for the letter Z. I'm sure you'll find something. You have a great imagination.
Michelle posted the photos of the rings she got for her birthday. Thought you might like to know.
Have a great day. We had a little snow overnight and it's chilly here today.
Blessings,
Mary

ReplyDeleteI was unfamiliar with the alphabet photo meme until today. Love your shots. Very interesting and quite creative, which is exactly what I'd expect from you.
ReplyDeleteour cat does that too! i am constantly shooing her lol.. your cat is too cute!!!
ReplyDeleteYour i is perfect! I saw it right away without needing your outline.
ReplyDeleteYour J looks a bit scary though!
I love the cat in the toilet! I had one who would drop things in to watch them sink or float. I was always buying myself new tooth brushes because of it!
My cats just like to watch you go to the bathroom!
ReplyDeleteLOL, that made me think of the movie Meet The Parents!!
ReplyDeleteSo true! What is the fascination with toilet water?
ReplyDeleteMy cats love the toilet water too.
ReplyDeletemy cat tries to get into the tub with the kids. He will hang over the edge of the tub and play with their toys. The kids will dump water on his head and he doesn't even flinch!
ReplyDeleteWhat a pretty cat .. I have to keep my bathroom door closed because of my kids and cats!
ReplyDeleteFunny post! Great picture!
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by.
What a riot. I do not know what the fascination is, but it ends when it comes time to clean the toilets.
ReplyDeleteHummmm.... I wonder if my yesterday HoT helped you with today's Wordless Wed? LOL
ReplyDeleteOh... I loved your comment at my HoT yesterday... I think it was more fun than what I wrote.
that is so cute annie!
ReplyDeleteI have wished for the last 20 years that I had had a camera in my hand when we caught our cat actually going potty IN the potty. Crazy cat. Gone to heaven now. ;-)
ReplyDeleteIt doesn't get much cuter than this.
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Sweetie
The only thing funnier would be if she fell in!
ReplyDeleteLOL about the cat drinking from the toilet.
ReplyDeleteSadly, my two year olds really enjoy playing in the toilet and try to every time someone leaves a gate open :( EWWWWW
Great ABC finds!
ReplyDeletehaha im not sure what it is about the toilet either. im guessing its the fasination of it being flushed lol
ReplyDeleteGreat pic of Tahoe! Caught in the act! My cats don't care about the toilets at all, but I still keep the lids down...just in case! LOL
ReplyDelete((( HUGS )))
Hope Tahoe didn't take the plunge. I keep the lid down to keep Molly from using it as a water bowl. Ewww
ReplyDeleteHugs and blessings,
ROFL what we do to get a pictures for our blog posts! hehe My mom's cat Tiger is also fascinated with the toilet and anytime anyone goes in the washroom, he has to come running in and waits for the toilet to be flushed and then he stands up to watch the water go round and round! lol
ReplyDeleteYou've got such a good eye to be able to find an "i" in your house...I thought seeing in that glass light house was excellent:-) xoxo
Yep, my cat likes to drink out of the toilet too...gross!
ReplyDeleteSorry I'm late! Too funny about the kids fascination. We keep our toilet lids down. LOL! I cat stand the though of my fur babies drinking out of them. :-p
ReplyDeleteTahoe is gorgeous! Reminds me of my best friend Buddy I had growing up.
