Lady Katherine at Lady Katherine's Tea Parlor awarded me with this beautiful gift! She stated in her blog:
- This Award goes to some very special people, I wish I could just give it to all the blogs I follow! .... This award is for you!
I know a lot of you are having the 'taste of winter' already. Here in our area, the nights have been a lot cooler [the daytime temperatures are still in the low 80s -that's about 27 Celsius]. Now that Autumn and cooler temps have finally arrived here again, the plants and flowers are beginning to thrive all over, the growing Autumn season is upon us. During the extreme heat of the summer months they nearly go into hibernation. The cool nights now, they love! So I went back in after watering, got my camera and wherever I spied a blossom in our yard, I stopped to photograph....

We've had several hard frosts now, so most of our flowers are gone for the season. I love Fall and Winter though, so I'll sacrifice seeing the flowers now and welcome them back when Spring arrives again.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on your award, Anni. It's nice to see someone who's so generous to share awards and buttons with others, receive a much deserved award herself. :-)
Hope you're having a great week!
Love and hugs,
Diane

Anni,
ReplyDeleteAll of the flowers in my beds have been frosted. Only one blanket flower is hanging on and it is close to the porch so is protected but soon it will be gone also. Most of them will reappear in the spring.
Your blooms are beautiful and I love the Don Juan roses. I had a climber but it winter killed a few years ago and I haven't replaced it.
Congratulations on the award. You are most deserving and it is beautiful.
Have a wonderful day, my friend.
Blessings,
Mary
Glad you can still enjoy such wonderful flowers.
ReplyDeleteAnd congrats on that award :)
I enjoyed the beautiful flowers.
ReplyDeleteI so love flowers ! Those are beautiful .......
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed seeing the pictures of your beautiful flowers you have shown for Wordless Wednesday.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on your award. You are one of the most deserving bloggers I know.
Congratulations on your well-deserved award. I enjoyed all your flowers and am reminded that you shared how to do these ‘mouse over captions’ but methinks I haven’t used the strategy yet. Perhaps I’ll think about creating a post with them soon … just because. I’ve got irises and other bulbs coming up in the past couple of weeks. Of course it’s never really cooled off here. Four of my five rose bushes have buds and blossoms as do both of my azaleas. Temps are in the 90s today … sigh! I’m tired of wind.
ReplyDeleteHugs and blessings,
What a sweet selection of wonderful flower photos. Makes me dream of summer. :) Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend!
