This is my favorite month of the year, except for December. LOL This past week, I've been setting up the Halloween decorations for the house, and then put some small 'wonders' outdoors in the yard also. Several visitors to my blog have commented that they're anxious to see my decorations. I'm afraid by the end of the month y'all will be bored with all the stuff. Still, to begin....below are the yard lights...ghosts, jack-o-lanterns, skulls and gargoyles, oh my!!! They illuminate at sunset and turn off at sunrise...solar. These are night photos I took for ya'll ---I traipsed through the mosquitoes to take 'em. Now, where is the Calamine Lotion?

And, if you don't know by now, you haven't known me long. LOL Anyway, I love Halloween. For about forty years or so I've collected ceramic and resin witches mainly. I've been given some, I've bought some, and I've made some. A few are fiber optic, a couple are animated, but mostly they just sit...and sit pretty [insert witch's cackle]. Throughout the month, I'll be posting photos of my witches haven, my jack-o-lantern corner, skull sanctuary [this is Bud's favorite Halloween fixture], grim reapers [another Bud favorite] and ghost alley. So, stay tuned. I'm just getting a good start ---

This set [and photo below] is something I found last week that I thought was just too cool to pass up! I bought a couple of them --and the design on them matches my Blog Header!!! Too sweet!! It's a hand towel for the kitchen. The captions say: "Stop for a Spell". And then the matching hot pads! Again, it has the cute little witch graphic to match my blog design. Of course Bud thinks I'm crazy for buying such nonsensical items for the kitchen instead of knick knacks, but hey...I think it's kinda cool. Okay, okay, call me crazy...it's forever fun for me this time of year.
