[Hmmm, I have set the 'scheduled post' for 27th at 12:01AM but it's posting NOW!]
So, there I was with little to do for the day. All my 'work' was caught up from my 'to do list', and I got bored. I've been working on some projects [crafts] for Halloween ---since I don't have enough [insert snort here --or maybe a witch's cackle!] stuff for decorating in October....
I thought I'd begin taking down the Autumn leaves and scarecrows to get the house ready to unload the tons of boxes of witches, skulls, spiders, webs and such for next week sometime. Of course, October begins on Wednesday [or is it Thursday?]. And for the last four decades I've been decorating for Halloween on the first day. It all stays up around the house and outdoors up until November 1st when I bring out the 'turkey day' decorations and bring back the Autumn things again.....
Where was I? Oh ya...the category for this week; view! I'm sure everyone or most everyone will interpret the word 'view' as in panoramic...a view of the mountains, or a view from their window. Me? I have a whole different twist to the word. This time, it's going to be a cat's eye view of 'fun'!! One box came out of the storage closet for Halloween the other day, and both cats jumped at the chance of something new and exciting. I seem to be in a rut also, I've been posting a lot of cat photos here of late...
Here are their views of the 'new toy' as I view them through the viewfinder on my camera [with mouseover captions] and should open in a new window if enlarged---
Shoot, I LOVE LOVE LOVE Halloween, yet have hardly any decorations! I'm pathetic! I loved the pictures of your kitty's in the witch box! VERY VERY CUTE!
ReplyDeleteYou know I find nothing funnier than a big cat squeezing into a small box..lol.
ReplyDeleteI love your graphics, they are so cute! How can October be next week...where does the time go? Thanks for visiting Shore's End!
ReplyDeleteLOL! I have a different "view" planned for tomorrow too! LOL! Love this years rendition of Hallowblogging!
ReplyDeleteThat is a great take on VIEW!! I am going to wait until the morning to do my post since I am tired tonight. Just wanted to see what you had on here. You have the cutest cats!! How fun!!
ReplyDeleteSandy
Wonderful post of the cats. (How do you do those mouse over things? You've got talent woman - you could teach a class to us inept computer users.) Love the castle with the sunroof.
ReplyDeleteAs for posting when it wasn't suppose to; I have learned that blogger just has a mind of it's own at times and you can't do anything about it. For example, my posts kept posting all bunched up, there were no breaks between paragraphs. So now when I want a break I put a period in that break and then color the text white (to match the background) and wha-la, when I post it it looks just the way I want it. To bad I have to do it this way but some times ya just have to improvise.
Have a great weekend!
Yep its very cool views...Happy weekend.
ReplyDeleteI love these fun photos :)

They are so cute! We are looking forward to pulling out our Halloween decorations here as well. :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful cat! Don't you wonder what our pets think of all our stuff?
ReplyDeleteHow cute, the curious cats ! Rosie last year played with a little witch which she was taking for a mouse probably ! Slowly some Halloween decorations show up in the shops here, I had a look, but I don't do anything until 2 weeks before. I will probably be the only one in the street, because it is not yet so much use in Belgium. Pumpkins at the doors yes.
ReplyDeleteThey seem happy with their view of things.
ReplyDeleteI love your cat's eye view! They're both adorable! :)
ReplyDeletethanks for letting me know re my link. I will zoom over there now and fix it up.
ReplyDeletelove your view.

Love the cats! Great views.
ReplyDeleteTrust a cat to play in any box they find! I've seen my fat old Ricky squeeze himself into some pretty tight fitting ones.
ReplyDeleteMy view is here
That's a furry kitty! So cute!!
ReplyDeleteI played too :)
Love your holiday look for the site! I love Halloween, too - my favorite!
ReplyDeleteIsn't it just like a kitty to play with the box rather than the toy that came in it?
I finally woke up and posted, so I hope you'll stop by:

ReplyDeleteAhhh, those cats are just a wee bit spoiled aren't they. Great photos. :)
ReplyDeleteI love your take on our theme! That photo of the kitty completely inside the box cracks me up! Nice job on The Hunt!
ReplyDeleteLOL! That is just too cute.
ReplyDeleteThat's not even a toy..
ReplyDeleteThat's his/her new fiancee ;)
Great shot! My cats fight over boxes too. LOL It seems like the smaller the box is the better they like it. I think they just enjoy seeing if they can squeeze their big butts in a tiny space. LOL
ReplyDeleteThanks for the comment! Have a great weekend!
What a cute set of pics! I just love watching kittys play :) Thanks for visiting mine today & you can play w/the boys anytime~& I won't even make you eat your green beans ;) Have a great weekend :)

ReplyDeleteCats might be intrigued by their views of our stuffs :P
ReplyDeleteHappy Weekend!
I love cat's eyes...
ReplyDeleteCats and boxes. You know if you put the two items in a room together you're going to be laughing. It was fabulous that we got a view of Tahoe even though s/he was in a box, thanks to plastic window.
ReplyDeleteOH that is just priceless...and what a great take on the theme....happy hunting...
ReplyDeleteI love the peek-a-boo kitty!

Cats and kids have a lot in common. They can play with the oddest things and have the greatest time.
ReplyDeleteGood series and captions.

Very cute views! New boxes are always fun for kitties aren't they?! Here is my view.
ReplyDeleteCats always have a different view of the world - good choice.
ReplyDeletewonderful thinking of "view"! happy weekend!
ReplyDeleteThose are pretty cool view photos, Anni. I hope to get a chance to "view" some photos of your spooky decorated Halloween home later *g*
ReplyDeleteThe Halloween-y blog layout is a winner in my book. I ♥ it :-)
Happy Hunting!
Sometimez the ‘scheduling’ works for me … and sometimes it doesn’t. Luv the ‘kewl’ jack o’lantern in your sidebar. Love the ‘mouse-over’ captions for your pix … and thanks for you know what ;--)
ReplyDeleteHugs and blessings,
A BOX! Woohoo! I love boxes! And that one has a built-in window, too!
ReplyDeleteShould I be skerred?
ReplyDeleteFall is sure in the air now.
ReplyDeleteIt real pretty out side at my place all the leaves are turning color.
During my week off. I had a few to do things on my list to do for fall but I came down with the crud and couldn't do it.
Coffee is on.
Hehe! Very creative "view"!
ReplyDeleteThanks for your comment on mine! =)
Anni,
ReplyDeleteThe boys and I put up a few Halloween decorations last Friday when they stayed over, but we aren't done yet. Once I started so did some of the other neighbors. It's nice to have the outside looking like autumn and a few ghosts, witches and scarecrows don't hurt either.
Love the photos of the kitties. Winston is adorable. Thanks so much for sharing. Tahoe certainly had a wonderful place to spend the day.
Blessings,
Mary
Thanks for visiting my photo hunt and great take on the view theme!!
ReplyDeleteYou are just too, too crafty for words -- loved the mouseover captions too
ReplyDeleteI like what you've done with the place! Makes me wonder what those chains lead to at the top of your header though...LOL! ;-)
ReplyDeleteLove the pics of your 2 kitties playing with the boxes. Ain't that about right? You can buy expensive toys and bring them in and they won't play with them, but dig out some boxes or roll up some paper wads and watch 'em go.
Happy Fall, Anni.
Love and hugs,
Diane
We did the cat's eye view too! Great minds must think alike.
ReplyDeleteAnd Annie - one can never post too many cat pictures! Keep it up - they are our favorites. :)
Hi Anni. Winston is so inquisitive. I love the last shot with his face partially hidden.
ReplyDeleteAnni, I love your views... very fun! Thanks for sharing. :-)
ReplyDeleteoh... that's freakingly funny shots! very creative pictures for the theme:) happy Sunday!
