Got a good reason For taking the easy way out

I love to laugh!!
It's the best medicine when you're frustrated. This afternoon I'm frustrated. I've been working on a crochet project that is rather vague in directions and I fail to get this 'incorporating' the motifs into the circled back of a sweater I'm making. tell you the truth, I got so 'mad' at the project about a month ago, I put it away. Then, today, wanting something to do with my hands, I brought it out again. At last, the last finishing round of the circle was complete and laid flat as it should [before, just as I put it away, the last round was done incorrectly, I'm sure of it---since it pulled up and did not lay flat!!]. That accomplished, I was pleased. So, I figured, why quit when I'm ahead? Started on the motif design after I fastened off the circle! Well, again, the directions are written in a way I'm not familiar with ---the 'repeats' are not as normal as patterns I've worked with....usually the stitches required are in parentheses and then just outside that are the numbers of how many times to repeat what you just did. I said, very vague. It's like I have to read the person's mind on how he/she wrote it. I'm not clairvoyant. So, I put it away for now and came online to my blog to pout!!

I was then, multi-tasking and opened my email. In it was a joke or two. I'm sharing one----

Sherlock Holmes and Dr Watson went on a camping trip. After a good meal and a bottle of wine, they lay down for the night and went to sleep.

Some hours later, Holmes awoke and nudged his faithful friend. "Watson, look up at thesky and tell me what you see"

Watson replied, "I see millions and millions of stars"

"What does that tell you?" inquired Holmes.

Watson pondered for a minute. "Astronomically, it tells me that there are millions of galaxies and potentially billions of planets. Astrologically, I observe that Saturn is in Leo. Horologically, I deduce that the time is approximately a quarter past three. Theologically, I can see that God is all powerful and that we are small and insignificant. Meteorologically, I suspect that we will have a beautiful clear day tomorrow. What does it tell YOU?"

Holmes was silent for a minute, then spoke. "Watson, you idiot, some bastard has stolen our tent"

  1. LOL! Oh yea... the tent! hehehe... good one!
