“A wise old owl lived in an oak;
The more he saw the less he spoke;
The less he spoke the more he heard...
Why can't we all be like that bird?”

I almost forgot that there is show n tell this week. I guess it's 'cause we didn't have it last week...I'm still in meme vacation mode. So, this is going to be a quick one. Small and not much show and very LITTLE tell. As y'all know cardinals are one of my favorite birds. I have quite a collection of them. I saw these around town a few months ago and bought them. I wasn't sure they were supposed to be 'blue jays' or cardinals in fact. But, when I got them home and started soaking the lead crystal stickers off the bottom, it read cardinal candle holders. Either case, they could suffice as a blue jay if I put blue votive candles in it. rofl

  11. Thank you for the kind comment on my blog.

    I really appreciate your site. Loved the 55 words. How do you insert pictures in the middle of text? I guess I'm still pretty 'green' at this blogging stuff. I should probably hit the 'HELP' button.

    'Show and tell' looks interesting too.

  12. The birds are beautiful. The color of candle that choose could turn them into new species. Hot pink birdies would tweet just as sweetly...that sort of thing.

  37. I don't think I've ever seen crystal cardinals before, they are beautiful! My mother loved cardinals and I used to give them to her when she was living. Now I give them to my daughter who has her guest bath decorated with them. The walls are hunter green and the red cardinals look really good in there!
