The morning I walked along the Oso Bay Wetlands, I didn't see many birds which is always my first intentions. So, naturally, I go with photographing flowers [flora] and other wild critters [fauna] if found along the pathways. One time I looked up at the beautiful, deep blue, sky and noticed the cloud formations. They, to me, were incredibly beautiful. Wispy, and for the lack of a better word, fragile looking. As I continued walking I aimed my lens to the sky...

Oh wow, what wonderful clouds--and captures of them. And yes, I saw the crocodile right away.

DeleteWe see the croc! Such gorgeous skies.
ReplyDeleteThanks!!
DeleteBeautiful captures, Anni! Aren't clouds amazing? They are like artwork in the sky!
ReplyDeleteI actually prefer a sky WITH clouds than WITHOUT.
"like a migrant bird...a crocodile "out of the blue"..."
Yes....I see it! And it does look like a crocodile. That is so cool!
Thanks so much for sharing your walk, Anni. Have an awesome Sunday!
Thanks for always positive feedback Ron!
DeleteWow, that Croc is so real looking skimming along in the sky water.
ReplyDeleteYes...but, don't laugh...I thought you typed swimming instead of skimming. I need a nap.
DeleteThat is a perfect croc cloud!

DeleteThe sky IS gorgeous, God's artwork! And I saw the croc before I even got to your arrow!!
ReplyDeleteGood gravy! Corpus Christi has gators both above and below! What a funny cloud!
ReplyDeleteWe're blessed that way.😁
Deletea wonderful example of cloud ballet. The gator could also be a seahorse on its side. Neat shot
ReplyDeleteSure 'nough!
DeleteOh yes, the sky can be a beautiful subject for our cameras!
ReplyDeleteYes, this one I see!!!!!!!!! The gator!!!!!
This kind of sky usually means (here) nice weather. Hope yours is such...

We've had better weather...not perfect, but better.
DeleteLove your beautiful sky pictures. And that gator was obvious right away. :-)

DeleteI love looking up at the sky and clouds. Beautiful and I saw the crocodile!!
ReplyDeleteYay!!
DeleteI didn't need an arrow either, in order to see the crocodile.
ReplyDeleteI love watching clouds. There's a skylight over my bed and another one over my porch swing so I can look up at any time to see clouds. Winter is hard though because the sky is uniformly gray, not interesting at all.
Ohhhh, I'd Love A skylight!!
DeleteYour choice of words "like a migrant Bird...I love it... Dave and I would call that poetic!
ReplyDeleteLove the smeary wispy clouds. Fantastic captures. We finally had some clouds last evening.. photos tomorrow. No rain yet, just wandering clouds.
Sue
Speaking of poetic...I like SMEARY clouds!!

ReplyDeleteALL THE BEST JAN

DeleteI love sky shots, especially with different cloud formations. I saw your croc right away!
ReplyDelete😊 awesome
DeleteLove the shots of the sky. That really does look like a crocodile swimming through the water.
ReplyDeleteIt does...I would've never associated water/swimming tho. You and Patti had similar ideas.
DeleteI love those sky shots. Yes, I saw that crocodile immediately.
ReplyDeletePerfect! I think of you often when I watch clouds.
DeleteI think If I saw croc on land, not sure what I would do.
ReplyDeleteCoffee is on and stay safe
No worries then....just sky here.
DeleteGreat cloud pictures. especially the crocodile. 😊

Deletei saw it right away! it is perfect and looks just like he is swimming along hungting.. the last coolage bottom right is my favorite. they are so so beautiful, I watch the sky when I walk Beau, have yet to figure out how to take photos and retain control. I could put him at stay, but it is his walk. we are all doing better each day, Beau and I are walking each day, for the last 3 we went the whole walk instead of turning back early.. we are all just exhausted all the time, other than that ok... it is like extreme fatigue. all 3 of us
ReplyDeleteI hope you three have no more set-backs & recover fully ...and soon!
DeleteI see it! I guess I should start trying to be a cloud-gazer myself, and see what I can see.
ReplyDeleteYou can cheerfully sing "I'm a skywatcher" to the tune of wheel of fortune. Lol
DeleteThat looks like a cormorant to me,going for a dive!
ReplyDeleteAlrighty then!!
