I'll Take the 4th for 400 Alex...

For some time now, the dining room hutch, dining table and a bit of the living room, has had 4th of July trinkets to show my patriotism. Besides, I do have to be honest and say "I love the Red White and Blue"!! I have more, but only brought out just a few this year. The little Red Wagon is new. Shopping at Hobby Lobby for green felt several weeks ago, I saw that all Spring things were 90% off. The wagon was part of the sale priced items. Couldn't pass it up. Besides, I thought Isaiah may find it curious...but he made a liar out of me. He wasn't impressed one bit. At Home Goods, I found the gnome which is also new. The rest of the items are years old and packed away for the seasons. My figurine of Betsy Ross is a favorite...what better symbol for our Independence - "Old Glory". And who designed it? Why Betsy Ross, of course!

Troll Showcase will resume in following post

  1. what cute decorations. I apparently got rid of the decorations I had for the 4th because I couldn't find any. Either that or I stored them away in a really good hiding spot.

  6. Love all your Patriotic decorations!!!!!!!!!!!

A new 4th of July Patriotic wreath, will be here soon. My old one, had come to the end of its days. I leave it up, all summer!!! So it gets lots of use and display. -smile-

For years, we had a big flag flying, from a holder on the garage. In a wind, the holder was broken and blown off.... Mess.... We have not replace it. It was lovely, but also got in the way of seeing, when going in and out of the garage. -sigh-

  11. i love your 4th of july Troll! He is one of the coolest I have seen. and I really enjoy reading what you bought at Hobby Lobby, it is the next best thing to going myself! We went last week, and they had three different kinds of small resin fall trolls, so cute! They had leaves on their hats. As they were only $6.00 each, I bought each one! Love your Pelican header, I don't know how you continue to have headers, as Blogger has gotten rid of them. But yours are always so great!

    1. When I changed it for July, I didn't know they disappeared so it took me a good two days off & on working on the coding. Pain in the patootie!! I can't wait to see your new Fall gnomes.

  16. And your new blogger Header, seems to want to show on the right! Mine wanted to show, on the left. LOL

But you know how to place your blog name, on your Header, no matter where it wants to show up. Lucky you!

I've been making Header pic, the size, which is wanted by new blogger, to fill my Header space. But no blog name. And worse, all my pics show up a wee bit fuzzy. Not crisp and clear. Grrrrr...

I may just go back to it showing on the left, for a while. For crisp pics...

Old blogger had a place, to put in a simple code, to make Header pics always center. No more such place, at least, I have not found it.

WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYY???? Do they do these things?????????????
