A Favorite...

Sometimes my choice is more about the details. This one in particular has been one of my favorites over the years of collecting. I like the idea of a "Coat of Many Colors" which during my Catechism days of learning the bible, I read, and it stuck in my memory:
    Genesis 37:3 reads:
    "Now Israel loved Joseph more than all his children, because he was the son of his old age: and he made him a coat of many colors."
    Even tho the colors were probably weaved in rows back then in ancient Israel, this one Santa coat has many colors that reminded me the instant I saw it on the store's shelf.

The coat not only has beautiful, seasonal colors, but the detailing and decorative additions sold me...

  7. i love him and my favorite piece of his coat of many colors is that gold chain with the bells. he is gorgeous. I like these Santas more than the tradidtional, although I love all Santas.

    Your Santa's Coat is beautiful. Someone had a most creative eye when designing him.

  14. Yes! It DOES look like what one would imagine Joseph's coat may have! This Santa is glorious, and so much prettier than with just the red coat.
