- Genesis 37:3 reads:
"Now Israel loved Joseph more than all his children, because he was the son of his old age: and he made him a coat of many colors."
Even tho the colors were probably weaved in rows back then in ancient Israel, this one Santa coat has many colors that reminded me the instant I saw it on the store's shelf.
The coat not only has beautiful, seasonal colors, but the detailing and decorative additions sold me...
Yes, it's all about the details:
Santa is gorgeous and as you write ... everything is about the details!
ReplyDelete~ Be safe and well ~
Ya, the detailing on this one is so pretty. Kinda Victorian? Maybe?
DeleteThis is a fabulous Santa. I love his coat of many colors and the details on this one are amazing.
ReplyDeleteI hope to keep him around for a long time to come!!
DeleteBeautifully detailed Santa.
ReplyDeleteHe would have caught my attention also.
If something calls out to me I will buy it even if I don't collect whatever it happens to be 🎅☕🎄
You and me both...thing is I tend to look first for those that I collect. First and foremost. lol

ReplyDelete...it really did, and continues to make me think "coat of many colors".
DeleteSplendid coat of many colors. You were right to bring him home not only for the obvious reasons of the beauty, but that he touched you in a special way.
ReplyDeleteIt certainly did!
Deletei love him and my favorite piece of his coat of many colors is that gold chain with the bells. he is gorgeous. I like these Santas more than the tradidtional, although I love all Santas.

ReplyDeleteTo be honest, I haven't really looked closely on the eyes. Now I gotta go check it out where he's sitting on the hutch.
DeleteI 100% agree details are what draw me to most everything in life.
