The other day, eggsploring my coop-upter....I came across some photos I took while pecking away....these. It really makes me wonder why I took them, then it hit me like an alarm cluck!! The old stand-by: Why did the chicken cross the road?

...to get to the other side, of course!! I'd like to say watching them cross was like Poultry in Motion!!!

Seems like they're enjoying their peck-nic!!!

By the way, a new movie that looks good on the trailers is one coming to the theaters on FRYday [November 8th]....MIDWAY. We will no doubt go to see it; both of us like historical movies like this. But, by the looks of it, it will NOT be a "chick flick" like Pearl Harbor was long ago.
I worked hard on this punning!!! Hmmmmm, does anyone ELSE smell burned feathers? My brain was over-heated I think. It's a bit fowl smelling for me in here, dunno about you.
your post is poultry in motion, he he he.... love the pics of the chicks and you knew I would love the puns... I would like to see Midway, have seen the ads on TV. we don't go to movies, will wait for it to appear on Tv.
ReplyDeleteIt has to be 'war' movies before Bud will go to a theater these days. Otherwise it's Tv or online.
DeleteLOVE the new header!!!!!
ReplyDeleteThanks!
DeleteLove chicken photos--a favorite creature. Poultry in motion brought a smile. We always said they crossed the road to prove to the armadillo that it can be done.
ReplyDeleteI've only seen armadillo (in the wild anyway) as roadkill.
DeleteAwesome puns, you are so clever!! And I like chickens, so like these pictures. So cute you actually found them crossing the road!! A few blocks from here, a fox is breaking into the coops and killing the chickens.
ReplyDeleteHope they trap & relocate the fox instead of doing away with it like so often done.
DeleteBuck! Buck! Buck! Be daw it! You just laid an egg. He Haw!
ReplyDeleteThese chickens are just as beautiful as any wild bird.
ReplyDeleteYes, I agree.
DeleteLOL, Love this. I thought for second I might be on Sandra's blog. The poultry in motion had me cracking up.
ReplyDeleteLol
DeleteHa! You are killing it today!
ReplyDeleteWe want to see the Midway movie too.
I DO hope it's better than pearl Harbor from years ago.
DeleteGood job with the puns. They gave me a chuckle.
ReplyDelete:-)
DeleteI also love your new header; kind of needing not to see anything related to Halloween! :~) This is a fun post! I love your puns and your pictures!
ReplyDeleteGlad you had a bit of fun while here.
DeleteThis post did bring a smile to my face...
ReplyDeleteI love the header photo...don't want to forget that.
