As of early morning hours on Thursday, the tracking map shows that Corpus Christi will get a direct hit from Hurricane Harvey. Yes, it's now predicted to become a hurricane before it comes inland along the coast. After I get some sleep, it will be a busy day working on the hurricane shutters, bracing gates, doors, etc. Bud and I stocked up on water, candles, lamp oil, food [for us and Tahoe]. So, I'll close by saying the computer will be down and communication will be nil until afterward. The storm is predicted to stall over the city for a few days, into next week. I am sure the power will be out with wind damage throughout the area.PS...thanks to all who left such positive messages for me on my Wednesday post regarding my now published book!! Your kind and encouraging words were so much appreciated!!!
